front bumper

I have a 07 dragon 700 was looking replace the stock bumper. Can I put on a 09 dragon bumper with out changing the belly pan?

Kind of looks to me like it doesn't fit the same. There are after market ones out there though.

Polaris sold a kit for that nosecone swap a few years ago and it WAS pricey. It included the belly pan I believe because the part of the belly pan right under the bumper on the 2 sleds is quite different. I would look into aftermarket, like Skinz or something. They are probably much stronger too.

Thanks indy ya was looking at the kit but don't want to spend 500. Seen those bumpers and might go that route just not sure.

I put the skinz frt bumper kits on both my kids 09 shifts because we pretty much ripped off the frt bumper in one of our many stucks. Its a clean install, pretty simple if your mechanical. There strong as **** and look trick too. I thought I paid 250.00 or so for each. I cant remember for sure but I thought the polaris kit was almost twice the price.

My 09 Shift RMK had the aluminum bumper, did the trail sled not have it?

the 09 shift RMK had the alum bumper, the shift 136 and 121 versions had the plastic bumper from 08 back. I have a 09 shift 136 and WISH i had the alum bumper, also if anyone is intersted in going this route, ken's has them at 20% off.
