All I'm saying is that the sentiments about getting hit or killed by a drunk on the trails are way over exaggerated by too many people on these boards. Inexperienced riders are a much bigger problem.
I'm sure it has happened somwhere at some time but in all my years of riding I cannot recall hearing about the death of one single innocent person, killed by a drunk,that wasn't riding with a group that had been drinking.
I was told by another member that I should get out of the sport because I was complaining about DNR harassment. The way I see it, Drunk sledders and DNR harassment are two evils of the sport that are not going to completely go away any time soon, but I think one is definiely decreasing and the other is definitely increasing.
