The video shows quite a bit more than the Yamaha version that's been floating around but not a lot of details. Just creating buzz I suppose as this winter comes to an end. A new engine and I think I caught a new Gauge Pod on one of the models too. Click on the link to see the New Doo's for 2017.

Yup, leaked early. On purpose or by hackers or accident?????. Hmmm.
New 850 etec, designed to last longer. Well see.
Doesn't look like any headlight upgrade though, that's disappointing.

Theres a whole video on the 850 etec on facebook west coast sledders. The best 2 stroke engine to ever be produced just got better!!!! And more powerful! Good day!!

looks like they are finally going to try to add more lube to the bearings should be a good motor

I'll be honest, the new motor looks impressive, and looks like the summit got a well needed board upgrade and narrower plastics and possible new front suspension. But why on earth are they still using 20 year old rear suspension technology with torsion springs? More info I guess tomorrow. Wait and see!

Engine looks great. Clutch looks great. Chassis raised up like axis, looks great. Hopefully its not a trencher like all the other summits.
Injectors in throttle body is a fantastic idea, wonder what it cost them to get that from AC?

it is extremely expensive to keep coming up with fictitious infringement lawsuits to drop in exchange for other oem conditional use permits.
doo has been coming on extremely strong in RMSHA this season. glad to see after all this time they are stepping back up to the plate in a lot of forums of racing again

Why does that video say it got 10 more HP but is now up to 165? I thought it already had that.

Be interesting to see more about how the crank bearings are getting lubricated. The video says 40% better oil efficiency. That would be incredible since they hardly use oil now.

my guess is marketing / the wording is extremely important oil efficiency is not necessarily usage. now buy spraying the bearings with same oil it has its original intended use to also lubricate the crank . now seeing as it has not been doing that for some time. it the oil is doing a extra job making it 40% more efficient

if he has never bought 1 they don't exists.
I have posted the part number for him but they still don't exists.
best longblock/short block program in the industry . they don't give a chit about the hole in the case no up charges for any damage. can usually get them for less than a rebuild and u get a yr warranty on them id dealer slaps them in .best part there is usually 1 in town or can be had in 3 days.

New clutches look good bad thing is all parts for TRAs are likely useless. No clickers but they claim maintaince free. Interested to see how much of a diet they claim

Given etecs have 4 year warrantys now 5 year for 2017 skidoo must really lose their ace on all these long blocks. Get a clue . O wait it must be because they dont sell any etecs :rolleyes:
