some awestome stuff in that catalog.

i know they were new last year but I really like the lighted hand guards at night, looks slick.
what don't look slick though is that ugly orange/white color combo on the gade adrenaline.
reminds me of a arctic cat from a few years ago.

Supposedly those are canadian prices too, so should be much less for us

Well I don't think the mtn sled is game changer at all, but I am really interested in driving one. I gotta say, I kinda like the creamsicle paint scheme.
A lot of cool stuff. Doo is trying, thats for sure. 3.5" pitch.

still has chaincase. No belt drive.

Just watched the live fb feed. Pretty impressed. So many improvements over the xs. Thought my current sled was about as good as it gets. Adjustable post foward handle bars are a sweet set up..4 positions come standard on X gen 4 sleds. That sled is gona carve the trail. The guy demonstrating on the new mxz could effortlessly reach foward and touch the front shocks. Battery in back. Shaved weight from exaust clutch and engine. Think they said 25lbs less than xs. New steering system. Just to many things to remember. Cant wait to ride this bad boy. Summits looks pretty wicked as well but i was more focused on the renegade and mxz. Pretty happy about the progress. 850 cutout and clutch cut out were cool as well. Its all on fb to view. Good job team skidoo!!

WHEW!!!...what a big night for mo....I bet he fell asleep in his Doo gear,... cape and all!!

I might give one a try this year. The seat should feel familiar with me coming off my AXYS.... rack and pinion is a real close version of an RX-1.

The 850 is being reported as 165hp and a 10 hp improvement over the 800????? Thought you doo guys were touting 163 out of the 800?

Seriously though. I might have to give one a try. Which model will have the biggest fun factor?

Did the 600 get the oiled crank bearings too or just the 800? Looks like they added rider select handlebars, just like the Fusion! Although I assume it's better built than that

To my knowledge the 600 is the same. The new 850 is narrower than the its gen 1 brothers by 2 inches, and the chassis is 4 inches narrower than the XS. The 850 was specifically designed for the G4 chassis which doo hasnt done a chassis and specific engine build in 20 years.

Im sure this tech will come to the 600 in a few years.

Some rather nice looking machines!

I do know a few people that are die hard 1200 riders that are salivating for a boosted version. I know they will be mad.

Their only option is to build there own. A stage 1 version is not bad and is simple to do. have a few buds running them. A 1200 turbo from doo would be at least 16K. For 16K you can make your own.

While I was also the first to be rooting for another Mach Z to compete in the hyper sled arena, ski-doo has made it clear that Mach Z owners are the hardest to please and also rack up the most warranty claims.

how can you see a summary of the changes this year? I'm not that familiar with the Doo lineup from the last several years so when I log in to the Doo site I simply see what's offered...not what's new. Is there a page on their website that shows changes? I can't see one if there is. For example, Yamaha has the word "new" next to any model changes. Maybe i'm missing something and thought someone could point it out. Thanks,

Ski-doo made it clear last night that their testing always yielded in the area of 155hp on their in house dyno's. They said whatever dyno you use, you will see a 10hp delta and big torque from the 850 over the 800etec. They utilize the same bore but different strokes. Dyno tech hit 164.2 on the 800etec on numerous occasions. That means on his dyno next year we should see in the relm of 174-175. A big bore 900+cc is gona be easy for the aftermarket on this engine.

Pure fun factor on the trails the MXZX is the best bet

Yeah all depending on how crazy you go on the sled. But figure you get a standard renegade for about 11,500, That leaves you 4500 fopr turbo

Hey dfattack, all of the new items / changes are listed in bold print in the PDF spec sheet you can download or print for each sled. You will need to look at each sled, and when you go down to the "specs" page, on the right hand side there will be a line item which states "download spec sheet". Click on that and a PDF will load and give you all of the details about each sled. There will be some bullet points listed, and those that are new will be in black bold print. Hope this helps.

I may own a 16' pro s switchback, but I have tons of respect for the ski doo sleds, especially the e tec,I got to work on that technology when it was new in the evinrude marine engines. That being said, does anyone else think the new summit plastics look like their tundra or whatever work sled that is with the snub nose and round headlights? I think it's ugly in my opinion. .

Its growing on me. I kno by time i see it in person i will like it. I already have plans if i dont. A bumper and skid plate in accessory catalog make it look much better by the pics of the one they show. Either way ill take function over form, we arent chicks(sorry ladies)
Kinda like the rear end on your poo. Doesnt look good but if it works it works.
