Thank you for stepping down!! truth hurts

I have seen some dumb posts but that might take the cake.

Yea, what ever tiny bit of respect I had for you is gonezo.

Just an FYI Mo, your absurd level of cheerleading for SkiDoo does the brand more harm than good. If I were the company, I would be pleading with me to ban you from posting here. You have not broken any of the rules of the board, so safe so far.

Haha it was a good one wasnt it

So funny - you argue ("attack" -I use the term loosely) with one of the sacred cows around here, and the retribution is swift and relentless. SMDH. Come on guys - R-E-A-L-L-Y??? This is so bad? Literally SMDH at the pettiness.

Another good thread derailed on JD. If I had mod powers I'd be doing a lot of Skylaring(deleting) around here lately.
I just don't get why you guys let a person get you so worked up. So what if he's hardcore cheerleader. Does it matter what's the best and who thinks it. Sheesh. Consider the source and move on. No need to disprove his rhetoric it only encourages more.
Doo does makes a great sled. What really impresses me about 2017 is they bring what looks to be some great reliability improvements to a 2 stroke sled without huge price increases. Isn't that what we all want, 2 stroke reliability??

Momoney, is it wrong for you to be extremely pleased with your brand and relay that info, attitude to others, no. Is the fact that you believe ski-Doo makes the best sleds necessarily mean they are the best sled for all people? If a man lived in a location where there was one dealer and that brand was a respectable brand, could that brand be the best sled for that individual even if it wasn't the fastest or lightest? Is the sled itself the sole reason a person buys a particular sled?

I've learned a few years back that I was an irritant to many people on this site so I took that to heart and learned to refrain for antagonizing people with my personal perspective. This is a public site that all kinds of people visit and enjoy. This site is more pleasant when people like myself and yourself control our strong opinions.

I hope you intend to continue to post because you offer up a ton of valuable info on skidoo. Just try an think of the others on here and try to be respectful of all brands. I have certainly failed at this in the past and admit that but I hope it's been obvious I have had a change of heart. You can also evolve in how you word your strong favor for Doo, Doo it for all of us brother!

Yea your right. I can say waiving the pom poms of team yellow is a bit antoginizing and annoying. Skidoo has been good to me but who the heck cares. In reality snowmobiling is something we all share and enjoy and is much bigger than skidoo. I am a poor comminicator most of the time so sometimes what i type isnt really what i meant. Either way hopefully this industry keeps pushing foward even after a sub par year like this has been. Thanks john and lenny for pointing out the obvious. Let it snow!

Dang momoney, now that's some serious integrity you just displayed there. I'm a little choked up by it, seriously!

Let it snow and let's ride!

Done riding sleds this year, test drove the 2016 Camaro SS with 460 hp, my mind has shifted to real fun.

By the way, I love Ski-Doo too as I have pre-ordered a new Ski-Doo since 2009 but not for 2017. Ski-Doo and Yamaha dropped large rebates this season in February and screwed me on resale. So, I am not buying til next winter and Ski-Doo can kiss my butt. Likely to be a Ski-Doo but we will see how pricing is for Yamaha too next fall.

Ciao winter, see you in about 10 months.

800 mxz is a great sled to ride while its running but history says its not if its going to break its when, fact just go to craigs list and read about the 800 for sale, Then check out adds for Yamaha Apex theirs a clear winner here in miles ridden and lack of rebuilds or
engine work

Very true sledhd1. But the how many 800's are there out there compared to Apex's??? 800's are the largest selling sleds no matter the color. Perhaps the "cash cow"? I have never had a 800, and don't plan to.

true they Doo sell the most but every one of my friends and relatives that own them and some have had more than a couple have all broke any where from as little as a 1000 miles and if there lucky they get 4000 miles.

I do like there 600 put some miles on them. should note I have a 2002 mxz 700 with 10.000 miles on it and no rebuilds of any kind. Big bore 800 just dont last that vibration from the twin makes things wear slash fatigue sooner

The only thing I question is...the "as reliable as a 4 stroke claim"...IMO that has yet to be determined, and really a marketing hype thing that I'm sure we will hear parroted repeatedly by the yellow underwear wearing crowd....I give ski-doo credit for sticking to their guns...they really could have produced an excellent HYPER POWER 4 stroke...but they chose not to, because it would disrupt their big bore two stroke sales.
I can say a lot of Yamaha guys were (and some still are) waiting to see what comes out Monday...if ski-doo had put out a high power 4 stroke (turbo..etc)....I know quite a few Yamaha guys that would have jumped ship...and I know lots of ski-doo 4 stroke guys are not happy right now....to ski-doo, 4 strokes almost seem an after thought....they could have totally dominated the market with a new Mach Z 4 stroke....especially if Yamaha drops the apex in the future...For as many happy folks at dootalk...there's a lot of grumbling too.
