How many miles this year?

A very unfortunate ending to a difficult season for many reasons, late start, the c-word, extreme cold. For me was first time a full week in the U.P. unfortunately was during the cold snap so only rode 3 days just under 550 miles for me this year. Hoping for the U.P. as a whole, next year will be different.

First outside of the yard ride was 12/23, put 800+ on the "backup". Then the new sled arrived 1/15, and ~3500+ later the jackshaft bearing took a dump (Yes, it still had grease in it).
Then got on the backup again and put another 500+ on it last week. Not sure of the exact amount, but ~4800 so far....

750 - A normal year is 1,500 - 2,000 for me.

at ~$15,000 for a sled, I will exit the sport if next year is like this one. Too much investment for 4 weeks of riding.

Praying next year is better.

Hear that, got a SxS last summer, considering getting rid of sleds. Just run the RS-1 all year. Enough dual use, and winter SxS trails to keep from going stir crazy in winter.

150 on the mountain sled out west, and somewhere between 750-900 trail riding. Had a good 3 week run around home, only missed riding a few days in those 3 weeks but mostly small runs to local restaurants with the little man and the girlfriend.

Feel fortunate this year as we caught 2 good weeks of riding, the last week of January and the last week of February. We had a couple of warm days (high of 37) on the February trip but still managed to log 2,550 miles for 11 days of riding. Our biggest day was 295 miles and lowest day was 100 on the warm day.

1500 miles. That's a little above average for me.
No one wanted to travel south this year?
S. WI was the bullseye for the snow this year.
Our local trails were only open for 3 weeks. Better than last year, but not as good 2 years ago. Central WI has not had a good snowy Dec or Jan for awhile.

Canceled the trip and went to San Diego.
Still here, got 300 miles on the new electric bike.

Under 500 for me. One trip north and one day on the local trails. Probably had more miles on the truck than the sled.

1330 miles, and all from home. Really low for us. But it was the absolute best conditions I have ever seen here in 50 years. Spent a lot of sled time with my oldest granddaughter Maddie, that was the absolute best part of it! She loves to ride!

1500 miles and never left Southern WI. It was a great year down here. It has been years since we put that many miles on, and it was nice to not trailer for a change.

Put on about 2000 miles normally around 2500 to 3000 on a average year so down a little. Hoping for a better year next year. Tried the SxS thing didn't do it for me also being a snowmobiler and knowing what kind of damage they do to a groom trail I would never ride one a snowmobile trail. I like what Michigan is doing by making the trails only open to sleds Dec 1st to March 31st
