Welcome to the "heater hose fitting club". Had the exact same thing happen on my 94. Somehow I was able to saw through it (carefully) and get it out with a chisel. I was lucky but I remember it taking hours and the manifold was still in the truck, which made it even more of a pain.
I'm sure there are shops around your area than can get it out. If it's too expensive, you can always look for a replacement.
It's probably time for an old school high-rise double four setup anyway. Fuel injection - could be just a fad.
