Welcome to the "heater hose fitting club". Had the exact same thing happen on my 94. Somehow I was able to saw through it (carefully) and get it out with a chisel. I was lucky but I remember it taking hours and the manifold was still in the truck, which made it even more of a pain.

I'm sure there are shops around your area than can get it out. If it's too expensive, you can always look for a replacement.

It's probably time for an old school high-rise double four setup anyway. Fuel injection - could be just a fad.

i liked my firestone destination m/t's . they had great off road traction and sounded good on the road. never saw deer run in front of me, they were always running away.they wore alright for a meaty tire.

Sorry for not updating you guys! Picked it up on Tuesday. Runs great (always has). I just bought Putco Nitro Blue Headlight bulbs today. Still need a hood bad! Let me know if anybody has or knows of anybody with an 88-98 victory red gm truck hood! I might be able to buy some more goodies for it soon. FINALLY got an interview with Fleet Farm next week. I've applied 5 places and haven't gotten a call back on any of them. It hasn't rained in a month and there's no lawns to mow. I only have 2 permanent mowing jobs now. I lost 1 today since the guy should be able to find time to mow it once in 2-3 weeks (haven't mowed my own lawn in over 2 weeks its so dry).

So Your gonna be one of those guys, whats next the coffee can muffler sounding like a bunch of wissed off bee's, or a big wing (which adds 40 to 100 hp depending on who you ask.)? LOL

Good luck on the interview, I hope you get the job.

What muffler? :p I don't have one. Straight piped back from the cats 2.5" stainless piping with 18" Chrome tips at 45 degree angle. My want list is HUGE, which is why I'd give up a few weekends out of a winter If that means I get more $.

It should sound good. Be carefull running around town like that, Cops like to give kids with loud trucks a lot of attention. Its hard to do a lawn job and not get caught.

I know a little bit about that, LOL. Not that a young man with a truck would do anything like that, ever.

Typical kids needing trucks like that. I was like that too tho. But then I grew up a lil bit and got tired of listening to that noise pulling a trailer.

Thanks! I'm really excited for the interview, I don't have too much to do to any of my sleds anymore, and don't know what I'm going to do with my time after school anymore! Might as well get a "real job" now. Lawn Mowing pays well but that's only a 4-5 month gig.

Smart hire by them! I'm sure they will not regret it. Congrats, you must have had a good interview. I knew you would get it, now work hard and be honest, you won't go wrong.

Thanks everybody! I don't get a discount, and I understand why. Fleet Farm offers lot of different stuff, people can go in there and drop a couple grand versus someone going to mcdonalds and ordering a few burgers. I'm in the building dept. not cashiering, I do anything from lifting heavy stuff to putting together display models and stocking shelves. Sounds A LOT better than cashiering!!!
