have u ever rode a nytro? It was a slug to ride back in 08 when it came out. didnt matter what it weighed, every other oem produced much better sleds that year and till this day. Nytro was a flop just like the fusion.

Come on Man I own a 08 Nytro FX I think its a great sled, powerful and when I dialed it in for my weight and riding style, it has been a great sled. Of course I have never ridden or owned a SKI DOO, so I have nothing to compare it to. That 900 Ace turbo is a sweet sled, if you want to spend the $. The 1200 SKI DOO's are being advertised at BLOW OUT PRICES, since I understand they will be discontinued becuz of the Turbo being offered.

A few years back my buddy had a 2008 Nytro RTX SE, at first it was kind of soft on performance but he stretched it out to 136, put on a 1.5" track, added an Excel Exhaust, Ulmer clutching, C&A skis and a NOS bottle for a little extra boost when needed. From zero to 90 it ripped pretty good, it would do a hair over 100 on full top end and it handled the bumps really well. It was the cornering I thought was not very good, just did not knife the curves very well.

Yeah she rides GOOD IMO on corners, took some getting used to, pretty jerky throttle response at 1st. I like it, mostly becuz its paid for--- LOL.
Seriously though I am sure the new sleds have many more amenities and ride much better than mine. For 2 or 3 weekends /yr. it works for me.......................

Looks like a 2002 Viper on the left.

Since it took Doo 15 years to come up with a viable 150hp 4S I think the BNG's will do on the SW for a year or two. LOL All the BS aside, if the throttle response and driveability isn't as good as the RX1/Apex 4cyl. I don't think I would be too interested. Never liked Yamaha's 3cyl 4S for that reason. Just didn't have the same snap as the 4cyl. The new Doo's will and should be a great sled to ride. I bet the weight of the turbo sled doesn't come in quite as light as Doo is advertising but time will tell.

It’s a 2002 SRX.

Got a feeling it may be a rebadge of the SW to look like a SRX for the lake racer, maybe more low slung. Just a guess....

Heard from a solid source Yamaha has a new made in Japan machine but that could be as little as an entry level machine.

I’d like to see their 847 4s with a turbo around 150 hp in the ProCross skid.

Meanwhile Cat supposedly has a new skid.

Most heard Poo has a new 860 2s, is Cat’s 800 bumped too?? Not sure..

Sooooo Yamaha is targeting drag racing market and that's about it by that teaser vid....

Given Yamaha moved their snowmobile headquarters to canada, I don't see a made in japan snowmobile coming?

Poo's axys is 4 model years old along with the 800 H.O (Hesitant Output), maybe time for something new. dare I say 4S turbo?

Cat just released a new 800 last year, but are long in the tooth on that chassis. Something nEw?

Lets hope new stuff comes from other 3, as doo is pushing hard to take it all over.

People should just ignore anything this guy says about ANY mfg (except BRP) and the GB Packers. I know I do. Clear bias and prejudice, so no objective commentary.

I agree a chopped SW and BNG to call it all new SRX is silly!!! If that is all Yamaha can do this year a 75% mfg production reduction isn't enough. I'll wait and see plenty of rumors about an entry level sled too. Still nothing for me but Yamaha always tight lipped.

What isnt true? what is bias? what is prejudice?

Yamaha teaser video is a drag race?

New japan snowmobile makes little sense as they moved to north america?

Poos chassis and engine is 4 years old?

Cat released new 800 last year? the pro-cross is dated?

i dunno what you ride, are you bitter and bent?

Maybe poo or cat releases a forced fed 2 stroke. that would be interesting.

MOMO is the poser child that makes me say never on a Doo.

I have proved I am not brand loyal blind and if it wasn't for the arrogance of the Doolusional, I just might buy one.

Let's keep it about 2019 releases all this brand loyal stuff is dumb imo I have had them all at one time or another like 4s best don't care what brand if engineering makes sense that is a good thing red, blue ,green or yellow. Sure dealer means a lot too & I wouldn't buy any brand for a bummer dealer been there done that too.
