There isn't a single $649 bibs available on their site?well one in our crew ordered a new set of $649 bibs before we left last week direct from klim website .
3 days of ridding and the leg zipper busted will not stay shut.
went to the local dealer in Kremmling he called attempted to get them to give him a new set/swap out with new pr of floor. they looked up the order saw when ordered and still no return . but if u sent them 2 us we will fix and send back . yeah that is great if u are not 15hrs from home with only 1 set of the "new superior quality" bibs.
tell u what even though it was not me I will never buy again after screwing my bud and the better part of my and the other guys morning ride.
any more questions about customer service after acquisition .
as far as some folks slammin gawd aweful amounts a $$ into sleddin products ...like $600 bibs goes, I just shake my head at how many can't find the $25.00 it takes to become club members.
well duct tape is not going to keep your whole leg closed for a day of deep snow ridding I . a trip to a ski shop for cheep bibs was a better rout .if a bad zipper ever takes more than 15 minutes away from my ride, just take alla my chit away....I don't deserve it.....what is duct tape for anyways?....if the guy is fashion crazy, they even make duct tape in designer colors....

I once contacted them about fixing a zipper on a 8-9 yr old pair of pants and I was willing to pay for it. They said to send them in for repair and they called me about a week later, said they did the water test on them and found they were no longer waterproof so they sent me a brand new pair in exchange. I thought that was great customer service as I had never said anything about waterproof issues.
I've seen numerous reports of them replacing "8-9 year old" merchandise that no longer met their standards; that's well above and beyond the typical "warranty" service these days, if true. (What is it, a lifetime warranty?)… No doubt , Klim makes a great product, I just can't justify the cost, but overall I'd agree they are probly worth it. That being said, from what I am hearing on the cust. service and warranty side, not so impressive. …
It just might not be a bad idea for them to do such "forensic" testing — (an autopsy?) to learn something about the failure, and if it turns out to be a production/manufacturing process issue, then fix that problem for better product reliability from future production runs. (Yes, it's a damn inconvenience when the failure occurs out in the boonies.)… "send in your item for TESTING"....like we don't believe you????? what's that all about? …
That is awesome CS right there....just don't like the down time aspect of it....sleddin season is too short.
Your good experience leads me to believe that maybe Klim has a bad egg in the customer service dept and ezras bud was a victim. Ezras bud needs to followup and let Klim know what happened.

You're funny, man (But looks aren't everything! And I didn't carve this one up!)>stop carving up my quotes or i'll sue you in small brains court!!!!<
They can inspect the corpse all they want, just make sure the customer gets back on trail first if it is in season. That's all I am saying. If you didn't carve up my quote during YOUR examination, my point was clear.....do you also freelance for MSNBC?....LOL
