Good Stuff, have used it for yearsI started using the Cutter Backyard Bug Control because a lot of people were swearing by it. It seems to work OK. Just hook up to hose & go. View attachment 72229
Moles or Voles? Two different animals.Anyone have any luck getting rid of moles?
Yep I did a sanity check with my neighbor across the street that does his own fertilization and uses Scott’s. He pays the same as I pay for 6 Truegreen applications for 3 he does himself. I used to use Menards fertilizer Scott’s way too expensive to consider. He likes to apply his fertilizer himself and takes great pride in his lawn me $ for $ I’ll take the service spend my time doing other things but to each his own.about 10 years ago I had voles/moles?? digging tunnels in my back yard and would go to neigbors yards. Couple holes/tunnels turned into 20 plus. I said that's enough of that. I bought D-con tablets put them next to the holes and have never had an issue since.
One day i was cutting the grass by the garage and out of the corner of my eye near the base of the garage I see like this black cloud. It was a vole/mole cover in fly's like just staggering. I went and got a shovel and put him out of his misery.
If you got dog or cat maybe not the solution.
I use Menards in spring and fall on lawn.,,, spray weeds individually when cutting grass. I'm pretty anal. Once you keep that up for a few years I really hardly have any weeds.
I absolutely refuse to spend the money on Scotts weed and feed. They're prices are insane.
We have several growing pots of lemon grass scattered around the house where we hang out, patio, front porch, driveway and such. And no skeeters anymore! I though Kathe was nuts with the idea, however it works fantastic.I bought all the stuff to spray for mosquitoes, but it never seemed to work nearly as well as the professional companies, so I let them do it now.
Moles in my area like to dine on grubs, so I use Scott's GrubEx every spring. If I don't do anything else, GrubEx is religiously put down. I got lazy for a few years and didn't use it, boy did I pay for that.Anyone have any luck getting rid of moles? They apparently took over my back yard over the winter. I've tried traps in the past with no luck.
For fertilizer I put down scott's 2 or 3 times a year that I buy from costco. They have it at a reasonable price so it's not too far off the menards brands etc. prices. Late summers get dry here typically so there's no use to do more unless I want to water a lot, which I don't. Usually early spring, around memorial day and fall. And spray weed killer as needed.
