No weight listings and no 600??? *** were they thinking??

As an F6 owner, it's hard to see them do away with that. I think what they are thinking, however, is that if they can build a 4stroke that is almost as light as the 600 (or lighter), then there is no reason to build the 600, or, in other words, it has become obsolete. I'm waiting to see the weight specs and other info, but as of a few minutes ago, the AC sled page was still down.

Yup, right from their site:
http://www.arcticcat.com/snow/technology/power_plants/
"Our 4-stroke 1100 EFI deals out 1056cc of liquid-cooled, twin-cylindered power. It has 600-class horsepower with the low maintenance and clean burning, efficient benefits of a 4-stroke engine. "

Definately has my ears perked up :D

Oh, and Indy, everybody on here likes and respects what you do, including me, just saying to lighten up a little on the bashing... and refering to yourself in the 3rd person.

The more I look at these cats, the more I like. I haven't been too impressed with the look of the cats in the last few years. Actually you have to get back to the ZR platform for me. Great styling. Love their graphics. I hope they have good "fit and finish" on the production sled because they seem to jumped into the ring with both feet this year. I'm looking forward to riding a new Cat.

Bingo on Blade!!!!!

Right on the money. I think you would all agree that those guys had something before the rest. I had one of the first production Blades (01') and I took it to the Parts Umlimited ride in MI. I think it was in Watersmeet. I remember most of the chat was about how cool the Blade and Cat looked.

Guaranteed the omission of the 600 is a 2012 emission thing, and there will be new engines next year for sure. Also for those of you that are not familar with cats four strokes.... My wife rides a f6 and her sister rides a jaguar non-turbo and these sleds accelerate the exact same. The big bonus is the oil saving at 42 bucks a gallon the 4 stroke saves huge money over the course of ownership.

Looks like I'll be sticking with my '10 F6 for a while, I see no point to go higher than a 600.

Arctic Cat's website was up at 2am this morning, and as of this, works slowly now.

I love to read the comments from the Brand X People.
I was in West Yellowstone over the Weekend and talked
with Magazine People and there were 4 simple words that
were Said after they rode them"Lookout for the Cats".
I shouldnt Mention the Brand X guys there that were
complaining about there motors Blown up HMMM??
Makes you kind of Wonder why its smart to run extra fuel
and oil threw a 2 Stroke. I saw a previous reply from a
X brand Guy worried about the Motors . Really??? Dont
you BRING RINGS PISTON'S with you on trips. This Looks
like a XP stuff is a Joke Because woudnt your sled would still have
trailing Arms. Im a Fan of Snowmobiling and an avid rider if
you dont like cat go back to your own boring Threads. I have ridden
all the Brands and there all great in there own way. AC just
turned out a new Beast and I hope more Jump Ship. I saw
these Sleds in action and they are as hot as they look on paper
as they are on the Snow.

haha you guys make me laugh. You pick on me so I jokingly make a comment on these "beautiful" new arctic cats and now I get bashed for it?

You have your right to an opinion. But it may of course be censored.

All I know is back in 1994 I bought the top of the line, most expensive T-Cat 160 HP boat anchor ever invented. After trying over many months, with four different dealers, throwing dollar after dollar at it, for fouled plugs, fuel delivery issues, broken wheels, and magneto output deficiencies, and assorted other quality problems, I swore never, ever again. I was extremely lucky to unload it to the next unsuspecting soul. Rode Poo and Doo for over a decade with zero quality problems, and now Yam. Zero problems. JMO

Sorry to rain on the lovefest parade.

Not a real fan of the Arctic Cats, BUT.....the new chassis deisgn is pretty sweet! Just got to get up to speed with the E-tec type motors and they will definately be good to go!

Great job on the new design!

I think the first picture inthis thread must be the new Arctic Cat Adrenaline model. I think it looks a whole lot like the 2010 adrenaline with some orange on it and an Arctic Cat sticker on the tunnel. I'm not saying thats good or bad but as someone else said in this thread it looks DOOish.
