Right on the money. I think you would all agree that those guys had something before the rest. I had one of the first production Blades (01') and I took it to the Parts Umlimited ride in MI. I think it was in Watersmeet. I remember most of the chat was about how cool the Blade and Cat looked.

you live on the lake right off seaton? only blade I know of around the LK.I almost bought one from donahue yrs back just could not do the poo 800 so I went with a zr still wish I would have bought that thing

What's tiresome is you guys hammerin Indy. You can always just pass over his comments if they bother you that much.

THANK you, I will admit, that all black x-fire (maybe the nightfire?) is really sweet looking. I'm just not a fan of the all white sled end of story I will stop there. If this thing handles on the trails like the twin spar and can still carve like the m-chassis, cat may have something special...

Man I really like the looks of that first sno-pro with the cat on the side. That thing looks wicked!! Its always interesting to see the new iron when it first comes out, especially when they make changes and improvements and ultimately raise the bar for the other manufacturers. I have owned a new sled from each of the sled makers but cat over the last 10 years and would really be interested in a closer look at what they have to offer with these new sleds.

I am curious about the front suspension with the tall spindles and the huge distance that it creates between the upper and lower control arms. Will that offer a smoother ride or better handling.......?

very interesting!!!

One thing that is undeniable is AC is really catching the attention of the snowmobile world and will be a big hit in the next few years for sure. Just looking on here, Arcticchat, and Doo-talk their is one thing that is apparent...there are many people who care about a good sled and not what name, color, or sticker on it that WILL be buying an AC. Today on Doo-talk I saw 5 threads(on their first page) that dealt with AC's line-up and it has pretty much been that way for a few weeks now. Arctic Cat now has peoples attention.

I know AC's website being down sucks, but I look at it as a a good thing cause never before has soo many people shown this much interest ever before. I have stuck with AC for years now, and am really glad to see them get **** right even when I felt there was better out there. One thing for sure is I DO NOT feel this way now.

I was thinking tonight, what would the insurance run on these new sleds? Since most ins companies price per CC of the engine, aren't premiums going to go through the roof for these? I doubt they care for the difference between 2s and 4s either.

Just going from a 2001 600 to a 2010 600 for me was a $80 increase. Can't imagine what 600 to 1100cc increase would be.

Those are some nice looking sleds. I have always been a Polaris guy but after owning a 05 Fusion and now a 09 800 Dragon I am going to have to jump ship as soon as I can afford it. Just cant take it anymore.

I do live on Tonka and the Blade was from Donahue's. It was an early production so it had hard lines and sharp corners on the body. To this day I would say that the Blade is the best trail sled I have ever driven. A-arm technology that had litteraly no ski lift.

Did you know that Cat had the ETT tunnel and todays skid frame geometry in the early 80's. Never used it until the late 90's when tracks and suspension components could handle the range of motion. Ski-Doo had RAVE valves (exh valves) on their early 70's race motors. It is really cool to see how things make it to the consumers. I give Cat alot of credit. They are probably the smallest (definitely smallest check book) but still work their ARS off to bring new things to the market. Is the new sled Ski Doo looking? No, I say it is Blade looking. Give credit where it is due.

I can honestly say that IMO Artic has been far behind other manufacturers as far as "cool & sleek" looks go. Now, I like how their sleds look.

Just need to get rid of the jackets that everyone wears that say; "team artic." It may as well be called; "team cheesy." Just mho.

You nailed that one out of the park but that logo is almost as cherished as the Harley "HOG" patch. I guess I can live with it if they can.
