Sounds like cutler will be back. Was hoping we could make a deal with san fran as sounds like they were trying to move keapernick. Bears are in trouble next year barring pace hitting multiple home runs in the draft. I would trade forte while he still holds value.

Packers r clearly the team to beat in nfc north.

While i don't think suh was worth 20 mil a year, he is a great player that makes everyone on the D better. While his stats arent great he commands a double team and a ton of focus.

Searching the net for Cutler rumors nothing new so far & if goes past Thursday we are stuck for now maybe draft day or later in preseason if a contender has a lame QB. Not a lot Pace can do but let it be known other teams can have Cutler if they want him. I would not like to see it come to an outright release but maybe....

They said there were teams that made offers, but according to people close to the bears, it wasnt enough. The latest rumors are bears and browns are trying to get keapernick. who knows. Cutler and kaepernick could use a change in scenery. Maybe it would work out, we will see. lots of rumors. I have a feeling cutler will be back tho.....even tho i thought for sure when marshall was traded, cutler was going to.

Chicago is the correct stage for Kapernick but Cutler at SF not good for SF & big bucks. Maybe if Bears pay some of the Cutler millions SF would take a chance. Browns already have Johnny Football now want to play & pay Kapernick too... not sure that makes sense or move Johnny too?

i didnt think the niners would want cutler either, but who knows. Johnny manziel is still in rehab. Putting any faith in him as the future i think would be really dumb. Maybe he will growup but maybe he won't. He doesnt make much money in NFL standards so keepin him around as 3rd string isnt that big of deal

The bell tolls Wednesday at midnight...maybe the Bears are willing to pay the price to move Cutler later for more value. Pace nobody's fool & needs to make a statement to other clubs that he is not going to give the store away. Then again the Marshall deal was weak imo. Marshall must have been very disruptive in the locker room for that deal to be made.

Marshall had to be a distraction in pace's eyes, not to mention marshall was hurt last year alot and hes getting old. Plus u dump his salary and get the opportunity at a low paying young guy. I read that this years draft is loaded with WRs.

Either way 5th rounder not much but sends the message Bears have backed up the truck for wholesale changes. I'm hopeful Cutler can be moved no win to play him another season has to go sooner or later give a young gun a chance to grow with rebuilt team become a team leader. Pace might release Cutler rid team of the Cutler plague by preseason. Bears no good for Cutler... Cutler no good for Bears....crying shame Emery left this mess for Pace but then again if Pace can make lemon aid from lemons his value soars.

I think cutler needs to go to. I doubt he gets released tho.

I hope the bears draft bryce petty. Hes the only QB in this draft i could see being a star. Or would like to see mariota fall to the bears and we trade him to eagles for a pile of top end draft pics and nick foles.

Yeah it is an awful deal for the Bears right now! If we get to Thursday & Cutler still here it is disappointing for now but still something can happen draft week or in preseason. The longer he is on the roster, the better chance of him being the starter for 2015. If they were to cut him, it would happen before thursday 4pm. I remain hopeful Cutler can be moved... IDK anything can happen now or later....Only hope Cutler has with Bears is Trestman system was flawed not Cutler & Fox & staff can turn him around. I think Cutler & Bears both need fresh start & if me I would release Cutler if I could not get anything for him...Cutler just not very good....why waste your time playing him?

Yep it is all about the money Emery laid out for Cutler now clogging up trade deals still may just have to release him to move on to the future Bears. As far as Bears winning I don't see it no matter who is QB in short term. Bears will not go from worst to 1st toooooooooooooo many things wrong this year for turn around.

Probably not winning next year....unless pace pulls off a seahawk like draft class and hits 3 or 4 pro-bowlers in the late rounds.

Positives-Coaching is much better, O coord,D coord, HC

Pace appears to have an idea how to be a GM

Still have talent on Offense

Lot of cap space and draft pics to improve D

Negatives- Defense at the moment is still a mess altho i believe fox and fangio alone will improve the unit

Its official....fox and pace are talking on espn radio. Cutler will be the QB next year. Bigger question is will they draft a QB for the following year. Also didnt realize they gave the jets a 7th rounder with marshall. He really must of rubbed pace the wrong way.

Adam Schefter(sp) on ESPN says bears never called anybody about Cuthead. Apparently they don't want to move him, or just flat out know they are stuck with him.

Crazy FA year so far. Lot of weird moves nobody saw coming. Graham, Bradford, McCoy. A lot of fairly young guys retiring.

Should really shake up the teams next year.

Eagles should be the true definition on boom or bust bad.....haha

Believe it or not, mcphee said the first person who texted him when he signed was cutler. Which means he cares at least.

I kno you dont like him but cutler is gona be the QB next year. Him and gase have been already developing a playbook. Pace also said they werent shopping him but were listening to offers just like they would do with any player. Now that locker retired, hoyer is to texans, and fitzpatrick to jets....there is litteraly zero QBs worth a rip available. Even if the bears draft a QB, cutler will play next year. A trade just isnt realistic unless its for another QB....and who is gona swap QBs? Kaepernick is only one i can think of and i just dont see that deal working out.

I agree it is what it is for now ....later maybe something can happen...if Fox doesn't like what he sees on grass #2 will get a shot.
