Rodgers isnt a burner. Hes young, reliable and a good blocker. Him and carey will start as the backups. Pace is just adding depth, im lovin it. Gives some optimism to next year. I have a feeling he is going to take a WR first pick. But Im all for the best player available approach vs what you need in first round. Bear down

Yeah 1st pick went from a bada$$ DNT to a stud WR.... IDK could be anyone with 1st lots of depth at WR in later rounds. Not sure what current players can play 3-4 D look what Peppers did with the pack last year & was failing at 4-3 looked old & washed up.

Got to say this one surprised me ..this will be a different Bears team to take the field in 2015:

A mainstay on the offensive line since 2005, Garza has been the leader of the offensive line since replacing Olin Kreutz in 2011 at center. He has also served as a captain. Garza started 145 games and played 154 in his 10 seasons with the club.

Montgomery, 32, played for new Bears coach John Fox and offensive coordinator Adam Gase in Denver last season. He ascended to the starting lineup in midseason, starting the final eight games and the Broncos’ playoff loss. He’s a strong, athletic blocker who’s adept at getting to the second level in the run game.

Yeah i was suprised by releasing garza. Guys class act and good leader in locker room. He will be missed. But gotta move on hes a old timer in NFL standards. Hopefully they can play some defense and run the ball. I think that will allow cutler to be a whole different QB. He obviously cant do it all himself like he and they tried to do with him last year. Jay has a lot of flaws but he can win in the right situation, i believe that. If the wheels fall off, well stick a forn in him, hes not a rah rah type guy. Hopefully they watch a lot of Tony romo tape. A good running game makes the QBs job a lot easier.

I agree that you can win with Cutler but he will be more of a game manager. Cutler is not a QB who can win with by being a 40-50 passes a game type of person. But really, almost any QB in the NFL can have success with a really good running game. Hes just another interchangeable piece.

Yeah i agree. The only thing is he does have the ability to make big plays where as other interchangable game managers dont. In reality if he doesnt have those "bone head" plays he could be more than a manager. he had 28 td passes in 15 games. I duno why but im still hopeful he will get it together and eliminate the plays that make us bears fans scream WHat the Frick!!!

Fox will be all over the Cutler turn overs but most of Cutlers TDs came when the game was well lost & out of hand & the opposing D was backing off for next week. Cutler will do better with Fox maybe more like the Lovie years but with more talent on O. Both Fox & Lovie D minded coach.
