The difficult cuts come by 3PM Saturday. There will be plenty of talent available but they don't know systems of teams that can claim them. It will be interesting.

Bears need Oline help bad. Moving long to tackle it sounds. Bushrod hurt. Meh. If they don't have a line, they dont have a chance. 10 days until D day.

Yikes Fox not going to like that!... show a little respect Big Mike. This is not the broken down Trestman team. All I can think is Mike wants the Bears to forget their D assignments & try to stomp Rogers then go with quick release stuff & run by containment. I don't expect Da Bears to win this one but keep it close & make a game of it. I don't want Rogers to be hurt but Mike asking for it. If Da Bears can get 1 win of 1st 3 I would be pleased best chance for a W would be the Cardinals in week 3.

Here we go with the regular NFL season...... Packers vs Bears have power rankings of the #1 team the Packers to win it all the way thru the SB going against the basement ranked Bears. No way the Bears can keep up with an O shootout of the Packers productive O. The only way the Bears have a chance is to play keep away with their running game & have the D play very well. We will find out quickly if the Packers are as good as everyone thinks & if Da Bears still stink. My gut feeling is the Bears D is much improved over last year but if the O is still hapless it will be a long game for Mr. Cutler.

While we all kno the packers are better and are going to win....its just so obvious....right? So obvious that las vegas must know something we do not. the line is staying below 7. which who in their right mind would lay money on the bears. it may be more interesting the the public portrays. even tho im expecting about a 14 point loss. my only silver lining is hoping vegas is right as they are clearly betting the bears to keep it close or win outright.

First week lines are usually conservative. They are all pros and on any given Sunday - stuff like that. The Pack should obliterate the Bears but who knows? Maybe Lacy will cough it up 5 times and Cutler throws for 700 yards without an INT. That is why they play the games.

Anything can happen yes. But vegas usually creates lines to get equal amount of action on both sides of the wager. then they are gaurenteed to make money. Every week there are lines that dont make sense, vegas knows all the action will be on the packers. meaning if the packers cover, vegas loses there ace. vegas doesnt like losing. they are betting on the bears to cover the spread. PLus wise guys always bet interdivisional home dogs, no matter which 2 teams are playing. its a proven long term winner. its the only thing giving me some hope. plus the packers have no idea what defense or offerse the bears are going to run. fox said the other day on radio that have shown nothing they plan on using week 1.

packers will likely win but if vegas is right it will be a 27-24 type game.

Just imagine all the spreads that get messed up with garbage time points the losing team piles up that won't change the outcome of the game. Happens all the time. Vegas has been doing this a long time and all their numbers are based on experience over many, many games. They are in it to win. Hard to argue with their numbers.

First game of year is always an odd game to predict. Lots of rust for all teams. I can see the Bears making it a game but I don't think that should give a lot of hope for the season. Teams will still be evaluating their strengths and making changes. I wouldn't be looking for the Bears to win but more on how they play and which players step up. As for the Packers, they need to see which receivers will step up and replace Nelson. Who's going to be the go to guy and be as consistent as Nelson. That could prove to be a little difficult. A number 2 receiver does not just move to a number 1 and expect the same results. But, having one of the greatest QB's will definitely make that transition much easier! Even though the Bears, as like most teams, haven't shown much during the preseason there's only so much you can do with the limited talent they have. I am sure the Pack will see the Bears tendencies and adjust before the first quarter is over.
Pack wins 31-17.

Thats what everyone thinks the score will be. Thankfully everyone is usually wrong. Even tho its what i was thinking...roughly a 14 point bears loss, im going against the grain. Packers take lead on a last minute rodgers drive and win a nail biter 27-24.

I think that game will pretty much be over by halftime. Then again I thought that Cordarelle Patterson was going to be the next Randy Moss. We will see soon.
