We've had a pretty good run vs the bears with Favre and Rodgers at the helm.

Yes they have....im gona hope that mathematical odds start to take over. Bears are due to draft a pro bowl QB. Pack are due for a QB drought after rodgers. Last draft prediction i seen had bears taking connor cook at #9.

yes, law of averages has to kick in sometime!! Pack have had a elite QB since 1992 (fourth game), going on their 24 year in a row! Obviously there has been injuries and not always Pro Bowl years mixed in there but thats an unbelievable time frame. interestingly, favre was a 33rd pick and rodgers was a 24th pick, huge values for their draft position. I don't even want to mention the QB's the Bears have had in that time frame.

Pack is a 3.5 favorite over Seahawks.
I'll take the Pack.
Packers are saying this isn't a revenge game at all and they've forgotten about last year. Well I'm call BS on that! This is all about a revenge game and how we can't beat these guys and handed them the NFC Championship on a silver platter. Seattle is feeling like the Cowboys of the 90's we could never beat, but of course being politically correct they'll never admit that. These guys are human not robots there's no way they can't be thinking about revenge.
Finally got them in GB on Sunday night, the joint is gonna be on fire.
Seahawks D don't scare me anymore. Losing Chancellor and Wagner is huge. I actually think there offense is just as good and there D. Jimmy Graham and Wilson can kill a team.
Nick Foles and some WR's you couldn't name just scored 30 points on them. Rodgers and CO. could have that at half.
I think GB comes out pissed and aggressive and steps on their throats and this time keeps stepping harder.
Spoken like a true homer. ;)

yeah it should be a good game. i think both teams are still really feeling out who their teams really are. What you see Sunday night won't be anything like you see at the end of the season, but a victory can help bring a home playoff game. Packers offense looked a little rusty but they will iron that out and become more efficient. Pack D looked slow and can be run on all day. Shields hopefully just had a bad day but he was terrible.
Im not sure what to make of Seattle. Maybe the league has finally figured them out this year. Or, Marshawn Lynch's mom will take over play calling :)

Haha that is spoken like a true homer!!!

30 at half. Slim to no chance of that happening IMO

While the loss of chancelor is big, so is the loss of nelson. Id say those wash each other out. Not sure why chancelor is still holding out....seahawks cant give in. he is just watching checks go down the toilet.

I expect a tight game, if i had to pick a winner i would take GB, if i had to bet the spread i think id take the points.

Either way i think it will be a good game, glad its the night game.

The D will definitely be the Packers down fall if they don't win it all.
Shields looked horrendous was prolly just a bad game though as he never looked that bad.
Our D line though is gonna be bad. They'll give up a lot of yards just hopefully they can keep the points to a minimum.
Once again we'll just need to outscore everyone.

Tuff formula to win the SB. Thats basically what peyton manning and the colts did for 12 years. Every year 11-14 wins in regular season, high power offense. Busted out by more physical teams in playoffs. I expect Marshawn lynch to run alot. If he gets going seattles offense should click. I see them doing a simliar game plan of bears. Keep ball out of rodges hands as long as possible. Looking foward to watching this one

Also don't forget we got a 110% Rodgers at the helm this year.
Last year he was about 60% with a bum leg.
He'll be doing a lot of scrambling to pick up first downs when need be.
I know sunday night can't get here soon enough.

Yea that will help. Most people assume the packers dominated the
NFC title game. But if you look at the scorecard seattle had more yards rushing and passing, more first downs, more yards per play ..etc. You could argue seattle dominated.....but they had 5 turnovers and somehow still won. If seattle doesnt turn the ball over 5 times....not sure thats a close game. With that said i think its the packers best chance to beat seattle. Or is the nfc west proove to still be rodgers cryptonite...gonna be a good one.

Rogers better stay in the pocket or he won't make it thru the season. It is one thing to scramble on the the Bears D but not a good idea to do it on the Hawks.

definitely a different Rodgers scrambling and making plays last night than there was in January.
defense looked much better, I think they were looking past the bears last week.

Is there anyone more annoying on the face of this earth than pete carroll? I wanna punch this guy in the face so bad.
there is not a call that goes against his team that he doesn't have a heart attack over no matter how much video evidence shows he's wrong. But when he gets a hail mary call that was obviously wrong to everyone in the world he stands up in the press conference and says it was the right call.
He is such a tool.

Good game last night but im not sure what to take from it, besides a Pack victory. Seattle looked unorganized and sloppy at times, Rodgers will do that to you though. Its just amazing when you look at Rodgers stats, he is ridiculous. The Pack look, as usual, to be ahead of the rest of the NFC North by a good margin.
As far as the Bears, can they play a more boring game? Just like we all know, lots of rebuilding to do. They need talent.
Little bummed that Romo had another injury, Im not a Dallas fan but they have something good working down there.
Holy Tom Brady! 466 yards passing is ridiculous.

Agree Pack at or near top of NFL & Bears are at bottom. It is all about the players with the Bears & not sure how this happened? ...Sure they got old but draft also has not been good for them. Reminds me of the Jags a long slow rebuilding proceess without a clear timetable just keep losing with substandard players over many years to come. Bears need to get lucky in draft or trade get a team leader or 2 that can play.

yup that's all I'm taking from this game too is the W.
Not sure we would of beaten them on the road.
Rodgers is a magician, the statistical numbers he puts up are mind boggling. I think that was his 20th home game in a row without a pick. crazy!!
Were two games up on Seattle in the home field race after two weeks.
All's good.

Was a good game. Didnt get to see the last 6 minutes or so as i fell asleep.

I think im hoping the bears lose as many games as possible this year to lock up a top 3 pick. Gonaa need to take a chance on QB. Clauson makes cutler look like a pro bowler

Yep everytime Cutler gets hurt next QB is worse. Unless Bears start playing a lot better might just win 1 when everything goes wrong for another team. Idk I had some hopes for Bears..... maybe Langford will pan out seems to have some running skills other than that just a lot of rookies and pick ups that aren't very good players.

the bears need a lot of help in a lot of areas.
They should trade forte to the first team that offers picks. They're gonna win 2 or 3 games with him. What's the diff?
They're in the same positions a floundering baseball team is in that's out of the pennant race with three months to go.
Trade the value you have within reason, start tanking, get the first pick, and multiple picks with your trades, and start the rebuilding process. It a bitter pill to swallow but its the quickest way to get back on the winning track.
They'll obviously be getting a top three pick this year maybe the first. They need more than that. That's where trading forte for pick makes sense.
I'm not implying they're gonna get a kings ransom for forte but something is better than him playing out the year when your don't need to win.
Building a team around FA doesn't work. Just ask Daniel Snyder and Ted Thompson.

Bottom line is the they need to hit on a QB. The kid from cal looks the part, saying he will likely be the #1 QB to be drafted. They are already comparing him to you know who since they went to the same school. Connor cook also looks like a possible top 5 pick. but no one knows if they will pan out. If you miss on one of these QBs that are taken top 5, you set the franchise way back, look at oakland, jax, cleveland....etc.

I agree completely with forte. A contender could use him and we could use draft pics. He is gone after the year anyway.

Free agency can help a team fill a few holes but cant sustain success without hitting in the draft and having cheap young guys that start for a long time. But without a QB it really doesnt matter. Buffalo has a very very good roster, but cant get over the hump without a QB. Cincy as well. top 3 roster, dalton is holding them back. The bears will not be good until a franchise QB is found in draft. which could be awhile :(.

Anyone watching the Bears? This kid Matt Barkley playing QB has had 2 good games and can throw the ball. Is Barkley the real deal? I expected nothing got one close game & one win....ok not great teams for opposition but the ball has been on the receivers and many drops. Maybe a young gun is not needed with Hoyer,Cutler & Fales as 2&3. IDK but surprised so far.

Not sure about Barkley but lets see what he can do for the rest of the season and go from there. This weekend against the Lions will be a challenge. Tough to tell also since he doesn't have any top receivers.
