Still can't figure out what's more expensive. The truck or the sled? LOL My sled gets better gas mileage and I think it has less problems. Just ordered some 30,000K HID's for the truck and an Ingersoll Rand Dual Action sander to fix some nice wisconsin rust! Installed new door hinge pin bushings tonight and when i get back from the yoop this weekend, next is upper ball joints. Saving up for a newer truck ain't workin so well is it

Wow, I go out in the shop to start building a sled deck for the truck and this thread just exploded in some very unexpected directions!!!
I like the pony tail Mohawk! I could see Indy with a girl like that!
And Skylar! I feel ya with the 16 yr old! I have a 15yr old going on 30 and 13 yr old going on 25, and both are already asking for sleds and cars! Shheeesshhh, I'm getting to old for this s@&t!!

Skylar, My daughter just moved back home (again). She is 20. Well what a difference a year out of the house made. She actually grow up and all the stuff your dealing with will get better. Heck her hair is all one color and she has a good job in the field she is going to school for. The 12-18 year old years is way tough.
I will start taking pictures of the project as on going and start a thread for all who want take on this endeavor. Just rememeber, I'm building one that is just to put a single sled up there for now, but have the possibilities for expansion to accomodate a second sled later.
Thats all the material I have laying around the shop, so its costing me my time and 5 bucks for a couple of casters.
