Juls sorry to hear about your dad, I know there's nothing anybody can say to make it easier. Just know the JD family is here for you!

On the other note, mrsjac95 (Juls) and her family really need some prayers sent their way. Julies niece was killed in a car accident yesterday and Julies Dad is health is real heavy on their hearts. Just keep them in your thoughts and prayers right now they really need us
My heart is broken and a large piece of it is gone. My beautiful Niece Katie is gone. In a flash she has left us. I don't know how to do this, so I will just be here and hold my family close.
My Dad has slipped into a coma. My brother told him what happend to Katie and that Katie will be with him and take care of him. Mom and Chuck will come to Oshkosh tomorrow, Jason will stay with my Dad. My Mom, she is so torn. The love of her life is dying and in a coma and her first born grand daughter has died and her first born child is in mourning for not only her first born daughter but her father.
This doesn't happen in the real world... RIGHT? How could this be happening? A nightmare... it's a nightmare.
Please pray for my family! The Campbell's Drake's and the Miller's and all their friends.
Please add a special prayer in for Doug. I love you Doug Anderson! You came to our rescue and brought me and the boys to my sister. You drove us 5 hours here and then turned around and drove 5 hours home. I could not have made that drive myself. THANK YOU so much.
Another special prayer for Jim's Mom, Donna. She is driving my Mom and Chuck up to Oshkosh from Clinton, IL. Jason will stay to be with Dad, so Mom can be with Jean.
O M G. My heart is shattered.

So sorry to hear about your niece and father. I don’t doubt that your mother is devastated. My grandkids range in age from 17 to 2 and there isn’t a day I don’t wonder how they are doing. It’s a grandparent’s thing to worry about their grandkids, not to mention their kids, and you hope your imaginary fears are never realized.
It’s really to tough to think that your father might soon be moving on but you know he wouldn’t have it any other way. No parent that loves their children wants to outlive their children. No question that he would have wanted it this way.
Can’t really say anything that would make it better other than to let you know that a lot of your friends on this website are thinking about what you’re going through and hopefully you can take some comfort in your friends here.

This is the first time reading or posting on this thread .Jul,you have to be living the worlds worst nightmare . My thoughts go out to you. You need to lean on those great friends and family that are offering the help that you need.You can't do this alone. I've made the mistake of trying to do it on my own. Hang in there,it's a shi..y deal. My kids doctor told me something I will never forget,"life is like a game of poker,it's not the cards you are dealt,it's how you play them.
This morning, my Dad passed away. It was shortly after Mom and Chuck left to come to Oshkosh. Jason was with him and told him they were just going to sit and watch football. Jason went to take a quick shower and Dad decided to leave while he was alone. He left on his own terms. Katie and Dad are together.
Right now, it's all I can do to remember to breathe.
Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers. I truly can feel them in my heart.

So sorry to hear of your loss Julie.Its terrible stress what you are going through.they will be in your heart and your thoughts forever.the good times you had with them will be charished the rest of your life.please know we are all praying for you and your families.God bless!

We are back from Wisconsin. It still does not seem real. Katie's memorial service was beautiful. The church was full of family and friends and they all cherished Katie. So many people told wonderful stories of how Katie made their life better. Katie will be missed but NEVER forgotten.
