Just got back from the Copper Harbor "Run For Fun" Vintage Ride.
Was a blast! Pretty ccccold and LOTS of Snow.
My new "vintage" cats ran well!
Now,... I am off to wash off the road salt and put them away.
Very tired (and sore),... but had a Great time.
Guy and Scoop had super time also!
Now,...
Hope to ride the Big sled in the next couple of days!!

Looks like the Vintage Ride in Copper Harbor was a great time! Vinnie -I missed you again this year - hopefully next year we will remedy that!
We got out riding on Saturday at the cabin - it was beautiful! So nice to get out and get some seat time! The downfall - I think I made my cold worse.......Day 10 and I'm finally going to the doc....hoping for something to help me get over this illness!

was the ONLY track on the the trail!
Looks like the Entire system was freshly groomed!!!
Was suppose to get some rain,...but it stayed away,....
now MORE SNOW is in the forecast!!!!!

Vin.Do you go to the vintage ride in copper every year? We went to bents camp for the radar runs,was a good turn out there.

This is the 8th annual.
Made it for the last 6 of them.
LOTS of sleds.
Marquette TV station was there,.....
Pretty cool event,... with profits going to charity.
1st 2 years,... I had a couple of 1971 Polaris TX Chargers
3rd year,...a 1969 Fox Trac Futura
4th and 5th year,....a 1971 Ski Doo Valmont,...
and this year,... a 1973 Arctic Cat Lynx II and a '76 Cheetah.
It was Cold,.... but a real hoot!

Hey Folks! I had to come out and say a BIG THANK YOU to all those who took part in the donation to the Make A Wish in honor of my Dad and my Niece Katie. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! I means the world to me and the rest of the family. Katie absolutely LOVE going on our snowmobile trips with us. She and Aimee did a great job taking care of our boys and when they were old enough to ride, the girls came with just to have fun and ride all day!! I will miss her so much on those trips. We miss them both every day.

This past weekend the boys and I got to get out and ride with Doug - I really enjoyed my new sled! It handles beautifully and has lots of zip! We put on over 80 miles this weekend playing in the fields and taking on some of the MinneNOSNOWta trails.
My new Back Country
Y'all have a GREAT rest of the season! Who knows, maybe if things shape up around here we can make a run to the UP before the big melt!!!

Julie-Glad you got out to ride a little.Your sled looks very nice!I have a 2011 renegade and i really like it.Hope you and all your family are doing well!The grieving process takes awhile.We are thinking of you.Hang in there!
Well, It's official. The Dragon is dead. Hole in clutch side piston and scorched cylinder. Needs a top end rebuild and figure out the cause.
Not happy at all! After the last two years of no snow, now there is tons and I'm sledless!
Make sure you guys do some riding for me and perhaps a trailside shot of Fireball for the sled!

Plenty of time to get it fixed and on the snow spring ridin is some of the best

Brad! When? Right now we are broke... financially and sled(ly). Dustin's Revegade is down - took it in for an estimate - $3,000 to fix it!!! Needs both fuel injection rails, which run about 750 each (so says the mechanic guy) and then there's something wrong with the rings and the gear box thingy and one side has really low compression. We don't have $3,000 to fix it.
Jim's TCat needs new shocks - but Dustin can ride it the way it is, Jim can't.
Jim's Frankensled seems to be running okay, but it fouls plugs alot, so Jim thinks the oil flow rate is too high, he needs to adjust that.
Dylan's sled (even after hitting a tree) is doing really good after the home repairs. The bulkhead has a small bend and a little crease in it, but for the most part, it's doing well.
Doug got his Renegade back, it's running better, hopefully it won't flash another engine code...
Doug's Summit seems to be okay...
My sled is fine - I love it. Maybe I can stuff it in the back of my Mini van and come join you!?!?!?!

800etec - THANKS!! The grieving process is the hardest thing I have ever experienced in my life - I haven't cried this much since I was 4. The last month has felt like an eternity.
