Polaris 4-strokes

From everything I have read, Poo is definately #4 when it comes to 4 strokes. If your hard set on a 4 stroke, you'll need to identify what your looking for in this sled- top speed, light weight, trail cruising, etc., etc.,. When you have identified what you really are looking for, then you should start your sled shopping.

We have 3 polaris fst 2-07 's and 1-08. We love all 3 ,great iq suspension limintless power . 2 ofthem have some mods pipes and other lil mods. They will pull the ski's at 45-55mph not lean back like most have to carry ski's good mileage and trailer manors Just drive them 350 miles this past week and couldnt be happier!!!!! +1
the earlir one had issue with wire harness's ,but no issues here check out polaris files.com in the fst section you'll learn it all.From what i heard the newer ones are trouble free

I love when people bash these fst's because they make them affordable to buy. Sit on a new cat then sit on a fst its way more comfortable. Rider up position polaris is rumored to have a new 4stroke coming .

If your considering a 4 stroke I suggest yaa check out the attached.One of the best trail sleds out there.And if yaa r into boondocking and trails checkout the Back Country model it will amaze yaa what it will go thru.

i believe he asked opinions and reviews onthe fst and everyone has to throw in there colors i cant believe how many people throw there colors .

We have owned Polaris for over thirty years maybe 25 of them.Get over the color thing.Just suggesting he should check out the Ski Doo 4 tec.Now in my opinion and vast snowmobile knowledge the two don't compare.And thats all I got to say about that.

Ride what u like...i love my attak..imo, yamaha makes the best
4 strokes. I ride with 2 fsts...they are not for me, heavier than my
Yami, and worse fuel economy. But my friends like em.
Either way...when we go ride, none us smell like chainsaws.

Also, ur diamond drive drivel is incorrect. A friend of mine
is a factory arctic cat mechanic...all of their race sleds are
chain drive...yes even tuckers sled...dont believe me
call steve houle...he'll set u straight on the dd.

as fact...ride what suits u, and to with the people who dont like it.

really what is glenn hall? running what about kelly shultz? you see manny sno pro 600 out on the drag track did not think so so try to stay on topic. did not know yammi was eaven in the game of sno-x .btw cat did bring home 21 wins at hay days far more than any oem and oh yeah the stock sled world speed record also.and that is the one to look at because I only know 3 guys that are eaven looking for the heavy mod speed record but tons on the hunt on any lake any sat.and lets not eaven talk about cat podiums in sno x

Its embarrasing for the rider in green...see it every
weekend on the lake up here.
Take off ur green colored glasses..u sound like a cat

nothing on this post is incorct jan 2009 nssr glen hall 1200 turbo 170.078 mph with a modified DD just like stated above.and yes yammi motor has current ww on a laydown chasi running at the salt flats at bonivile doing 210mph not to shabby.I have no more horses in the drag game but I still have my old one in the fammily I can get any time see you at namacogen with my wallet .we will also have a few z1 on the trailer if you want to take a stab at one.and BTW huff was running glenn hall running the mod DD at that race huff to the light and got it not saying Huff was not rocking just saying the Xfire r had a mod dd system in it and eaven with a bad start lost buy less than a ski tip with a POS dimond drive sled

without tucker, arctic cat would be a snocross shame. if tucker aint in the race, a poo is on the podium. tucker is flat out amazing... nuff said. Just like everyone thought ski doo was awesome because blair morgan could beat anyone, does any big name race doo anymore? no

unreal !!!!!!!

i had a 2008 and a 2010 dragon and now have the 2011 IQ LX 136 and i couldnt be happier with the power , ride handling and all these 4 strokes have . they are right up there with all 3 other manufacturers and dont know how much better and more reliable the polaris 4 stroke can be before people know how good these motors are. i had over 4200 miles on the 08 in one year (bought leftover) and last year had over 5000 miles on with no motor trouble whatsoever(a few vacuum problems on the 2010) i will continue to buy 4s for a long time . and by the way the apex looks like a turtle next to the 750 turbo ( been proven many times) also the fst were not nearly as powerful as the 08s and newer models. unless they were gone through.
