So, Anyone riding their 800 that had the recall fixed? Any issues? Notice any difference? Mine hiccuped today, and my buddy's is having issues too. And we haven't been out to rid them yet.

To answer latebraker's question I now have about 315 miles on my 2010 800 dragon and the first 170 miles it did hiccup several times, and felt like something was wrong when you snapped the throtle really fast. It didnt matter where you were at as far as throttle opening if you hit it fast it felt like a stumble. First tank of fuel is mixed 50:1 ran that out filled up again and ran about 3/4 tank of premimum through and then changed plugs. Problem seems to have dissappered. I did take it back to the dealer and have them check TPS voltage, which was spot on. I have 9.2 hrs on the hour meter now and feel that it is safe keep riding it... This week I managed to whip my brothers 09 800 Renegade at the airport in Manceola....I was so proud of my poo.....

Well put 56 miles on my 09 800 switchback, it reacts the same way it always has. Maybe with more miles on it,it will improve, but for now not happy with it.

My buddy has a 09 Dragon with the update done. Ran good last year and ran good on the first trip this year. Going back out for new years so that will be the next trip for it. Eric

Thanks guys. Keep them coming. If we can find something in common (if something is wrong, or not working well) maybe it can get corrected faster. But, let's hope it just works good instead!

My Father has 130 miles or so on his rebuild. He told me its running great and pulls really nicely. I'd give it a few hundred more miles before making any claims though.

I managed to put about 30miles on my 2010 800 and it definatley had the infamous stumble. I hope it goes away after I run the oil through the gas. Do you guys think one tank of gas with the oil in it is enough of a break-in? I am glad you whipped that ski-doo, my main riding partner has a new 800 renegade. He has been doing alot of taking, I hope I will be able to take him out when we goet on the lakes. I am heading to the northwoods over Chrismas so wont have much info till after that. -Jonathan

Wait and see!

I am seeing the same thing as Kdedecker. I bought a demo 800 Switchback with all of the updates and 800 miles on it with no problems last year. After 150 miles I am seeing a lot of hiccups. Anytime I get over 6500 RPM'S or go faster than 50 mph or open the throttle too fast it sputters losses speed and occasionally backfires. On a couple of occasions it quit on me as I was crossing a road. One time this left me with no power in the middle of a highway. I took it back to the dealer yesterday and am waiting to see what they say. I hope it is as simple as the spark plug as kddecker said, but I took it in without checking as I have only had the sled a month! The dealer I am working with is awesome to work with so far so I am sure they will continue to work with me!

290 miles on my 2010 switchback 800 and it runs strong. Had the stumbel with the premix also but it seems to be less now. Put ngk's in it sat. and rode around the field and it doesn't stumbel at all now.

I just bought 2 09 800 Dragons they both been acting up....Just got back from my dealer they changed out the Exhaust Temperture sensor ...On the Computer it went from 300 some degrees to 180 then to 32 Degrees ....Which I guess when it shows that cold it will ask for more fuel which creates it to run like **** ...Also check your throttle cable...I pulled my Cable and it would kill right away .....

The dealer told me not to run ngk's they cause problems in the 800's this sucks I have always used them in the years, I don't like champion plugs.
I will find out why after I get the 800 redone next Tuesday.

My dealer said the same thing. They said Champion used to be pretty bad, but they've improved and the new plugs that are supposed to go in these sleds are very good (according to the top tech at my dealer). Forget the number, but I'll stick with them for now.

That's because they are a Polaris dealer. Polaris doesn't sell NGK's they sell Champion.

Hm, maybe. But these guys have always sold me NGK's for my Fusion in the past. They are now saying that the new Champs are a better choice for this sled and setup. I'll run the Champs and see how it goes. Maybe when I need them, I'll get the NGK's and see if I notice a diff.

The dealer in Wisconsin always sold NGK's they are the best, fact is he gave me $150+ credit on my NGK's I have ran them for the last 15 years in my Polaris sleds even the Fusion but they said if you did in my 2009 800 Dragon by by motor, Champion plugs are 1/2 the price of NGK's and 1/4 the price of my platium tipped NGK's, this sucked because they ran great in my sled, 1,000 + miles to problems, these champions 3rd set 500 miles!

NGK is working on a new plug for the 800's for this year, but until they work good the dealer is testing this first.

I tell you what I will be in the UP over new years week and I'll run both the champ's one day and the NGK the next and see what I come up with.I will be riding off trail so in and out of the throttle will be the norm so we'll see how the stumbel is.
