93% new parts on the new design. Hope some of that 93% is a DI 800 and a Pro Star 1000 turbo 4s!

Hey I can dream right?

yep just about time for a new 800 got the current one lasting more than 2 seasons best to start over and let the consumer do more testing for 4 or 5 yrs

I wouldn't be so sure problems are solved, I still am hearing plenty of them going blewy. I say quit fixing and design quality.

Polaris doesn't need a new motor...they just need a reliable one. They certainly don't need more horsepower until they figure how to harness what they have. just my 2 cents from a loyal owner.

I find it puzzling that the poo faithful want a 4 stroke.
Heck just buy a Yamaha already....you can't escape the weight....the vipercat proves that....it weighs in about the same as the nitro it replaced.
the doo 1200 is a few #'s lighter but still 70-90#,s over a 2 stroke.
I think poo fills the crossover and mt. sled category better than anyone as well as the entry level with the Indy line.
I will be surprised to see the Rush chassis much longer although that snowflap looks rushlike...weird.

Sooner or later one of the manufacturer's will create a 450 lb. 4-stroke with 120-150 hp and "escape the weight". Who ever does it first will own the whole market

I still don't think even if they can make a 450 lb mountain sled 50% guys wont buy. I don't feel the power is on and off and back on like a 2 st and u really need that instant off and on power.
I do love the power of a boosted 320hp 1100 mod cat though but cant imaging trying to roll one out of a 8 foot hole.

the power of the 1050 Yamaha is way more early and constant than spooling up a 2 stroke...almost electric motorlike.....too bad it weighs so much.

Is this a Yamaha or a cat thread? It's hard to tell. LOL
