you're correct but you're forgetting one thing. Most of these 06 and 07's have 10 thousand or more miles on them so most of these parts must be lasting. Of course you're going to do bearings but it's cheaper than a new sled is it not? I don't see too many other brands putting on 10k and still getting anywhere near the money for them. Yes there will always be a couple but nowhere near as many of the Yammie's that you see. Also guys, take a look. Retail means nothing. Lot's of people are buying Yamaha's brand new at a pretty damn good price! Lots of 2 strokes retail for well over 10 grand and it doesn't take near the material to build them. 5 year old sled is not a 5 year old sled unless the miles are similar and they simply are not. Resale value it higher on a 4stroke with similar miles of that of a 2 stroke. Ezra , I agree you will always find a couple of instances but that's not the stereotype.
