TC-W3 is a rating used by many marine 2 stroke oils. I use Quicksilver, neighbor uses Pensoil in our jet skis both are TC-W3 rated. What is the Sea part of Sea and Snow? can sea and snow be used in Say a 2006 kawasaki 1100 triple jet ski or 1990 something stand up jet skis like my neighbor has. We were told to have a TC-W3 rated oil for our marine 2 strokes. I am confused on this one. heading back to google, back in awhile.

no amsoil in the jet-ski?

Got 2 cases of quick silver 2 stroke with the jet ski got like half of it still. Just switched the big boat over to Amsoil from Quicksilver 4 stroke oil this yr. It was a little pricey for 4 EaO filters and 14 quarts of Amsoil 4 stroke marine.

He was saying to use interceptor...not the red stuff. Interceptor is clear, dominator is red.

10 or 20 a year???AC oil is 52$ a gal after tax!!!! 10$ a qrt......I use a qrt every 40 or 50 miles in the backcountry!!!!!so lets see full tank gas plus 10$qrt of oil......gets spendy i dont care who ya are!!!!

Pat your math confuses me. $10 a qt. for AC oil or $52 a gal. for AC oil. buy the quarts. I can get you Interceptor for about $30 a gallon.

My valves have never gotten as bad as in these pics. with 2000 miles between cleaning. I think the gas that is mixed with the oil plays a huge part also. I have a Shell station 2 blks. from me so I fill at least the first tank with V Power to start. sometimes I haul gas if riding in questionable areas. http://www.amsoil.com/techservicesbulletin/SmallEngine/TSB SE-2004-12-01 Power Valves.pdf I would love to have someone post some pics. of valves with say 2000 miles on them between cleaning using S&S and with Interceptor to varify this for us. Both sleds would have to be the same make, idle time etc. to be fair. I think extended warm up times will gum valves the fastest and 2 quick may do that to. not sure. I now that when my sled hits 118 degrees I go. then it runs at 126 to 132 all day long. Temperatures of motor, I am sure plays a part on how clean oils burn also.
