how many people in your group ?? i dont stay up there overnight to often as for its only about an hour drive for me . but if i was gonna stay i would see if http://www.mtnmeadowcabins.com/ has any cabins available. they are minutes from the peaks.you have to ride in but they will come down and help tote all your stuff to the cabins.the cabins have a small kitchen and cooking utensils .

Stayed there last week, as said by RevKen, very nice place, 10 miles in on
130 on the west side.
Come out of cabin, hop on sled and you are there to ride, no trailering.
Ken an kimberly are very very good hosts, very clean cabins, and you can bring food
to cook in main lodge.
They kept asking if there was anything they could do for you.
Would stay there again!

Hope this helps!!!!

Just got back on Sunday. Stayed down south in Wycolo. Never been befor but a last minute decesion to give up on the UP and head west ended up being the best snowmobile trip I have ever been on. Headed out wed night, sledding by thurs afternoon. Drove through snow storm in Western Neb to reach some newly fallen powder in the Snowies. Thursday fresh powder gave away to some pretty tracked up fields by the time we left sunday morning. All in all trails were excellent, off trail was excellent, and for a trip thrown togther at the last minute staying down south in Wycolo was pretty good as well. Place to sleep and eat on the mountain and still be with close proximity to the fun areas was pretty cool. Was pretty warm on Saturday but plenty of snow still there. Trip might become in the regular rotation now that we have actually have experience. Oh yeah, like many others spent the way home trying to figure out how to turn my 06 crossfire 6 sno pro into a powerful mountain climbing machine. Time to start shopping.

Sweet Kev. I may have a guy interested in your sled. If it's the Gade that is stretched. 2 more days and Tog. bound.
