In the second poll we're asking you where you ride. For a few fortunate ones, you can ride right from your front door but most of us have to chase the snow. We broke it down into states and regions. Where do you ride the most often?
Gary should have broke MI into Upper & Lower 2 different worlds. Very rare anybody from WI going to ride MI lower that is IN playground but they still come to WI too.
I live on the WIOWASH trail by Larsen, but I prefer riding in Marathon county. They really take a lot of pride in their trails as far as opening and closeing them at the right times and they are always grooming them.
I go every summer to the area, but have never been in the winter. Maybe this year will be the year.Interesting pattern so far. MN is a distant third with regard to the places members ride most often. Not sure if that reflects a choice of just the impracticality of the traveling distance to the permafrost of MN. I think John posed the question last year as to why more people don’t ride in Northern MN and it seemed like distance was the major factor.
If you’re not familiar with the area or don’t have connections in the area, Northern MN is probably not nearly as off-trail friendly as the U.P. but if you’re a pure trail rider that likes to rack up the miles (some routes can be over 100 miles between towns), you owe it to yourself to make a trip up there sometime

by looking at the poll I can see why if I go trail riding I love
Cass county MN so much more than any other place.
my wife refuses !!!! to go to MI ever again after we went for new years a few yrs back.I don't blame her I guess it was one of those yrs the only snow was twin lakes and houghton and north and we all know what it is like in that situation.
