Holy Crapoly Skylar... What a Job... And to think putting a new belt is a job for me, ask Mezz!! Anyway, I would need a bunch of stickers and lining up parts in order to tackle this oh, and a BF Hammer too.. I actually would have just traded her in... You have it going on though to be able to get in to it, figure it out and get it up and running... Good luck and keep us posted with the camera..

Today I picked up some parts I was waiting for, drive shaft bearing, jack shaft bearing, miscellaneous gaskets and stuff. So, the engine is back in, steering rack is in, upper and lower a-arms are on, coolant hoses are hooked up, most of the electrical is hooked up. All new bearing/seals in the chaincase also. I will be putting the jackshaft and driveshaft in tomorrow. Fun fun fun!

Oh ye of little faith! LOL. So far I have nothing extra, but I have lost one washer that went on top of one of the rubber engine mounts, replaced, and one torx screw that holds the rubber boot on, that the tie rod slides through.

Ezra, insulation? Dude, when I get the propane heater barked up in there, I can get it up to like, 40 or so in there. Depending on outside temps of course. LOL! Someday I'll get it insulated.

That steel ski is attached to a mint 1993 Polaris XLT that belongs to my younger brother.

I'd say you are doing pretty good so far. You already have extra tools. How many projects end up with extra tools at the end?

Now there is an ambitious task, a complete change over! That is a huge undertaking, but, if you have the time, what the heck. Now you will literally know the sled inside & out. I don't envy you on that job. Hope all goes well for ya.-Mezz

And I thought reshimming the Valves on the Jag Z1 was a project.
I took a video of all the parts spread all over the garage and at the end I made the comment " Sure hope I don't end up with any leftover parts"

Wow, what a project!!!
And to think I'm all proud of myself when I successfully change my plugs, belt and hyfax myself...
Very impressive, Skylar.

Famousguy, no, the insurance company bought the tunnel, and if and when I decide to sell the sled, who would want it with a cracked/kinked tunnel?
