Another example of me wanting a thumbs down button
I agree...its just typical for the way the last year and a half has gone....they don't need the snow down there...but yep, at this point tracking further south...it doesn't even surprise me anymore

Hey Jim, darn it, would love to meet you, down in Rhinelander, had to get a few things. Let me know next time you are around. Paul
Had friends up for the week and decided to finally ride Wisconsin and wound up in Manny Waters so I figured I’d let you know. But yes when we head that way again I will.

Just saw that...they shifted it back north..two of the 3 tv stations here are now saying 2 to 4, and one is saying 3 to 5...which would be great...heading out shortly to get some pictures of conditions in my area..
Going to head out on nokomis as they are dropping the water level and there are some ice heaves to check out ...hope to post pics later..but becareful on nokomis..don't just pin it (though it looks awesome, and very tempting)...those ice heaves can bite ya.

Went for my Thursday ride, left MW on trail2 over to Boulder, gassed up, took #8 south down to HWY 51 and then #8 north back up into MW. Trails for the most part were pretty good, icy corners for those of you haven't ridden in awhile, some thin spots, a little snirty here and there, but decent and groomers are working their magic with what little snow we have had. Home before the traffic starts up. Hope we get the 1-3" forecasted for Friday.

Drove down to Minocqua today, high was 22 and sunny, it felt warmer. Sun is high in the sky and was burning some of the exposed trails. In town things are looking like they always do, really snirty. Trails once you get out of town are pretty good, should be a nice weekend for those who came up, by the looks of the trailers arriving this afternoon it’s going to be a big crowd up here. Things start to warm up on Monday but it looks cloudy so hopefully we survive the 4 day warm up, but I think its inevitable, the season is nearing the end unless we get dumped on which could happen but not holding my breath based on previous storms. Get out and ride while you can.

Well pclark, perhaps we'll get a old fashion March? When my boy was out at Ia. State, his spring break was the 3rd week in March. We rode all four years ion his spring break! ;)
