I was afraid of that. 
(Where ARE those smileys?)
1. Click on "User CP" at the top of the page.
2. Click on "Edit Email & Password" in the left margin.
3. Enter your current password in nthe upper box.
4. Enter your desired password in the next TWO boxes.
5. Click on the "Save Changes" buton.
6. Done!

No, but you can change your time zone!
1. Click on "User CP".
2. Click on "Edit Options" in the left margin.
3. Scroll down to find "Date & Time Options "
Enter the apprioriate values there, then click on the "Save Changes" button (way down at the bottom of the page).
