Where is everyone going for Summer vacation?

UP Trout Fishing!!! Wife and kids will be at the in laws for a stretch in June....I can feel the 5 wt fly rod already.:rolleyes:
Hillman to our place as much as possible!
One week camping some place quiet

A week camping in the U.P. Weekends camping as often as possible in Wisconsin.

polarfreek, make sure you put your things away at night when camping at Warrens. We camped there 2 years ago with 2 other familys and we all had our beer in coolers outside over night stolen. Good thing we were leaving the next morning.

July - Black Hills, SD for a week to Mt Rushmore and to do some 4-wheeling.
Whitefish, Montana to see the Relatives in Mid August.
The rest of the time - every weekend in the Summer spent at the Cabin in Northern, MN

Last week of May Sugar Camp WI. (fishing)

July 4th week Cocco Beach with the Whole Damn Family (Grandparents and Inlaws) (Disney Also)

August, 2nd week Sugar Camp WI. (fishing again, thats more like it)

September, 2nd week Sugar Camp WI. (fishing again, now were talkin)

October, 3rd week Sugar Camp WI (fishing again, things are heating up!!!)

Early November, Sugar Camp WI (The most magical time of year time to HANG SOME MEAT!!!! Its sucker fishing season in full swing....)

November 18th- December 15th, Right here in Illinois it's "Horn, Huntin time", Oh, Yah Little duck huntin as well!!!!

Thank goodness for Compensatory Time Off!!!! I dont know what I would do with a fixed number of vacation days a year.

Barcelona and Tapas, Spain, to
Madeira, Portugal, to
Gibraltar, U.K. to
St Maarten, Carribean to :D
Tortola, British Virgin Islands :p
and finally Disney own Castaway Cay, Bahamas ;)

This is a 15 day Disney crusie that starts out in Barcelaona and ends up in Orlando Florida. :cool:

spend weekends at my familys cabin(2 hrs away) and work my a** off during the summer so i can take more winter vacations.

Just booked 4 night in las Vegas mid april. Summer TBD I have the Canadian Rockies on my to do list Banaff to Jasper. Icefields parkway.

Hay days is the 1 summer event I am looking forward to.the rest is up to the war dept she picks summer trips.but this topic is just sad I think it needs to be taken down I need to live in denial for just a bit longer.no summer posts till may I cant take it

One month in the U.P!!! Waterfalls, backyard drinking blueberry beer, and playing on my 20 acres, getting out of the Florida heat...priceless.

Walleye fishing every weekend after the ice blows out on the bay, then in august start making trips across to the sunset side for salmon.

All trips and dates are pending and have to be cleared with my social and financial planner

First we are going to Ludington to take the ferry over to Manotowoc. Then on to Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, then through the UP for 6 days. Spending a night pr two in several spots, including the Keweenaw. Then spending our last night on Mackinac Island. What a great way to spend a vacation!!:D
