Cat=3 podiums

Pro stock
Cat=4 podiums
Doo=3 podiums

heavy mod
Doo=11 podium
Cat = 4 podiums

u really dont want to get in the who has the most win in the history drag racing or even modern times do u ? ski doo and any racing that is funny I think yamaha may even be tossing more support at it
http://www.snobarons.com/files/files2015/results2015.pdf

Welp given we were talking modded 2 strokes i simply pointed out how doo did pretty well as they have the past 20 years in mod 2 stroke classes at haydays. Thanks for posting the results of that.

Not gona argue that skidoo doesnt toss the support like cat and it shows. I kno this first hand. If you read my whole post above you would hve understood that. Guys that do it them selves make big power from rotax, always have. Too bad they dont even let snowcross teams build their own engines anymore. Last i seen that girl racing on 1000 twin rotax was setting records at nhra races as.well. along with rich daly on rotax mach Z. who builds all engines but races rotax. You act like rotax cant compare. Where was these hooper and whoever 2 strokes at haydays...

where was hooper and glenn hall at hay days? well U would not know who is running a hooper but a lot are he is prob the most respected motor builder in the industry in all fourms of sled racing. but glenn is team D&D along with 1 of the Schultz brothers the other brother runs for bmp.
and knapp was prob on a Yamaha this yr
and really cat is not to involved in drags any more a hand full of guys get a sled at build cost and prob 2 get a free be. u see a ton because it is just what guys build to drag

How can you say one builder of one brand is most respected haha. Thats in your eyes. Pretty sure your boy knapp is on a doo 1200. He is a big contributer on dootalk. Hall is fast raced him numerous times. Cat is def involved much much more than doo at supporting racers. Even racers cannot get passed the ecm to lean an etec down for stock class racing. You can lean a cat and poo down, but not an etec. Sucks!! Especially for grass dragging. Pretty standard back in carb days to drop 2 jet sizes min from factory to make power. The 600RS with carbs still runs, but nothing you can doo with 800etec on grass. One big disappointment with doo . I understand they dont want people leaning the etec down for reliability reasons for the masses but comon the handful of racers should be allowed to represent the product without any stupid restrictions. And as you can see in 800 stock class at haydays not one doo. Prolly few 800pteks entered but the factory stock doo racers no where to be found anymore. Back to oil haha

One point about oils and drag racing. Never really a big deal on grass or even most ice races as they are short races not very hard duty cycle. So most oils OK. Get into nhra running farther and those guys pay attention to what oil they are running. No doubt. Lot use legend coincidentally.

Then you got the mountain riding which is the most taxing on an engine. Once again guys that build thousands of engines see it all and see what good oil can do. Shr and rkt do not sell legend they are customers like you and me of the oil. Proof is in the pudding, dont cheap out on oil if you ride hard at all, it will cost you in long run to save your 10 dollars today!!

well ask around not just my opinion the man has to many derby winning motors drag motors cross country winning motors out there to deny his 40+ yrs of building dominating no BS numbers motors.so how many times have u ran Glenn ? any wins lol .
knapp builds some nice motors I have a set of f7 jugs he did I cant sell because they are just to good like art work in fact they are in my glass trophy case in the shop .had to pull them before I sold sled.
there are guys running full mod e tec watched a few summits run pretty hard at hay days . they very well could be a xm with a p tec in them but I don't know why they would do that. and yes back to oil they all run what they are given to run

Not saying hooper doesnt build good motors.

What class was running summit XMs? I think you were confused with your Doo's. Obviously not stock 800. Are you talking the XPs in the improved stock 600 and 800? Those are no etecs ;)

mod 800 in a XM summit

U must be talkin the heavy mod 800. 99.9% sure thats carbd. Easy conversion if began the life as an etec, but likely just chassis with ptek engine. Aftermarket cylinders and everything anyway. Just like all the 1000 rotax SDI twins that get converted to carbs to run 1000 pro stock. But as of this year the ole triple rotax 1000 pro prevails again. Sum fast ETs.
