Same here, don't feel bad. Debating on tearing out kitchen floor and putting in quartz stone floor or bring my bike (Harley) in the family room and detailing it in there. Wife is pushing for the floor replacement.

Great Idea! within arms reach of the refrigerator for brewski's. Then nothing will get done! lol I think she still hasn't forgiven me for bring a sled into the house to stud the track 18 yrs. ago and I drilled into the gas tank from below while putting in tunnel protectors. I didn't know tank went that far under the seat. Wood stove was chugging away and house reeked of gas. No explosions, but could of according to her. It didn't do much for the green carpet either. House was 3 yrs. old at the time and I was also watching 2 kids in diapers while she was at work.

And I thought I was the only guy that brought toys in the house, dishwashers are to wash whatever you put in them. RIGHT? Must be a guy thing. The wife never complained, cause sometimes the parts was hers, do not think those thoughts, another guy thing LOL I am so bored with no snow.

In 1980's ish, I always put the bike in for the winter, sled in the summer. Right on the hardwood floor, never ate in the dining room anyway. Garage space is more valueble, life changed, but I have fought back, if only the boat would fit in the Florida room. Let me think about that for a moment? LOL

Mike - but you're in FL now...why would you ever need to bring the boat in the house? ;)

A 32' enclosed snowmobile trailer rolled up to my house one day. Odd, because I'd specifically told big daddy this was not a good time to buy any toys and no purchases toy related. "But I bought it for you so you could park your Jeep in the garage!" Needless to say, my Jeep has never spent one minute parked in that garage more than any repairs required. Big Daddy always takes the stance "It's better to beg forgiveness that ask permission" And hey, I get to enjoy the toys too. If I DIDN'T snowmobile? We'd probably not be living under the same roof?!?! :D

Nice Indy! Thanks for the pics so I can remember what snow looks like!
Glad SOMEbody will get to enjoy some snow! How's the 500 running? No more track issues? What about the tick tick tick? Got her running smooth?

no track issues, the tick tick tick is really quiet, I'm going to swap the powervalves right now to see if that fixes it, it's only the pto side powervalve making the ticking.

Just got back, put another 20 miles on. I swapped the powervalves, it didn't make the clicking at all, after 5 miles it started doing it again. The idle is now hanging up too, hangs around 4000 rpms for about 20 sec then goes down. Oh well, spark plugs look good, I RIDE!

The idle thing is very common among that vintage sled. Quick give the choke a pull on half way and it will idle down. I've had several sleds from 500's to 800's that have done the exact same thing.

Man I wish I could just pull up and get gas. Living 10 miles out of town with no gas close by is a HASSLE! I hope ur burning premium!
