It's Done..... ProCross F-800, Sno Pro, 50th Anniversary :)
Local dealer is open on Sundays for a few hours.
Doing a track swap with an Ice Ripper and going to try to request the decals not installed, just delivered with the sled.
Rumor has it that they will build the 50th Anniversary sleds 1st , then start production. Hope it comes early.......

iq rr gonna be for sale?

Dealers were told that the 800 LE models would be built last. They were just added to the lineup last week. I'm wondering if they have extended the initial offering on those sleds. Orders were supposed to be finalized last Monday.

"electric start"

ya gettin old? :p

yes. Actually since my GPS has an internal Battery that can not be changed out easily I need an external Battery and a charging system to get it thru the day. I have topos, trail maps, bread crumbs to best riding areas, some plat info. and state and national forests with forest roads on it for 5 states and Canada. It needs juice. Also it is in color and touch screen. You only live once. I hard wired my Harley to use the same GPS. heck it took me forever to figure out how to work it. Ram makes a mount for everything. And I am getting old I guess, never had e-start on a sled for me. Plus I can plug in my Droid if battery gets low. Never know who may call! lol

Sharp

this will work.

This one is sharper as the snow check orange that you can get black panels for also has black A arms and black rear suspension parts where as this one has red and I think that looks much better. Sharp sled! You will love electric start.

This sled can be also snow checked. The orange is like $160 to $200 extra, then the panels are another $348. Snow checking the "stock" black saves me this money. The snow check catalog was a little miss leading on color choices. I contacted a Poo rep who explained my options and gave my an actual model # for the black 800 with e-start. I have always had red, black or combination of both on my sleds ever since The red/black 700 XCSP 50 yr. aniversary sled back in 2000. before that it was mainly black or black/blue indy 500's.

Thanks for breaking the bad news to me 1st. What else are forums for ????
The call just came in ( we were all confused ) I guess it just not meant to be ! I'm not ready to jump on the Turbo /4 stroke band wagon just for a black 50th. Having green blood then turning non brand loyal over the years has molded me into the a-ole I AM.
Maybe I will have to sit this year out, save my 11k for another day.

I just read that Kens Sports sold out of there preseason allotment. They are taking no more orders on new Cats. I thought Arctic Cat would want to sell as many as they could and not have an extra stock of like F Series.

I was at Ken's and in talking with a salesperson, I asked if they had a few guys who rode other brands switch to Cat for 2012 and he said yes, many switching from Ski Doo. Guess their feeling Cat's Passion!

Probably be some Ski Doo clothing for sale in the "Gear" section in the fall.
