Lincoln County has closed zones 2, 3 and 4...due to deteriorating condition...only zone 1 is open at this point. The rain and warm weather did alot of damage. Right now there is standing water on lake nokomis (and many of the area lakes).. it's an absolute mess...hard to walk as most sidewalks...

    Tomahawk trail update 2-9-23

Trails are holding there own...but it did get soft, and there are puddles in some areas from the warm temps....for the most part trails are fair to good. The better riding as usual is in the wooded areas....the railroad grades (Hiawatha, and Bearskin), are fair to poor in spots, and really took...

    Tomahawk Area 1/16/23

Trails were actually very good this weekend, even with the heavy traffic, and warm temperatures. The Hiawatha is in fair to poor condition, with lots of snirt, and bumps from Highway 8 to Hwy K, and in very rough shape in the rock garden. However...8E, 8W, 51C, 47, and 49, were GOOD to Very...

Even though we didn't get the heavy snow that areas to the west, and northwest of us got...the trails look pretty good...we received some sleet, freezing rain and snow (about 2 inches in the Nokomis area)...it helped to freshen things up after the heavy traffic from last weekend...and now we...

    More Trespassing Issues, Tomahawk Area

NORTHWOODS PASSAGE TRAIL...near Tomahawk... This trail is closed and has been rerouted. Signs and roping have been put up. Riders went around the barrels and tore down the roping. On Sunset Point Road someone also tore down the roping and opened a closed gate. This is totally irresponsible and...

Nothing Good to report...unfortunately...it rained hard last night...the lakes (even the ones that were marked) are now slushy and wet...we also lost quite a bit of snow cover with the warm weather, and rain.....the trails are very soft, and will not hold up with the heavy traffic that continues...

Pre Season check in (Tomahawk area trails)12-6-22

Not much for snow here, a dusting to an inch in Town, and around 2 inches out towards Nokomis. But that's good, as we don't need heavy snow while we are making ice....Nokomis is mostly frozen over, and some of the shallow bays have 6 plus inches of ice...other areas on the Lake are reporting...

DON'T PUT YOUR SLEDS away !!!! I went out last night to check out trails...after getting around 2 inches of snow early sunday morning...it seemed to help the trails...we rode around Lake Nokomis, and there are some big heaves developing as they are dropping the water (especially up near the...
