Another Weekend & Another Snowmobile Accident

My riding buddy 0f 45 years broke his back this past Sunday morning @ 9:30 am. It seems someone decided to plow out their driveway and not mark it. He was leading at the time, we heard him through the comms say big hole, big hole. The sled is fine, not a scratch but the compression of the hit...

    2022 sucks!

I'll second the bushing kits from Mainway, Val is a really good guy and makes top tier bushings. I have his stuff on my SRX procross chassis too.

    Turbo Yamacats

This statement screams 4 stroke! Any sled that comes from the mfg. with a turbo is gonna be more power than you will ever use. The skidoo 900 ACE and the Yamaha Viper are N/A motors. Both are very reliable and would be good choices for your application. We have 3 Vipers in our group with over...

    Helmet with heated shield

I have a season under my belt with the mission, it does everything extremely well. Warm, quite, great vision and it works equally well with or without electric shield. I used it both ways and settled on using the heated shield because you can remove the breath box using the heated shield. I know...

    Eastern UP help

Call it a figure 8 then, I can run you a 1500 mile loop from one end of the UP to the other and only hit trail #8 in the same spot for 12 miles to get around the troubles of Escanaba. Look it up, the distance between trail #7 and trail #417 on the main trail 8.

    Eastern UP help

As stated above trail #2 is a bust getting around Escanaba, just don't do it. You just have to get to Gwinn from the West/South and run trail #8 over to Munising. You can stay on trail #8 all the way to the Soo (easiest/fastest route) or drop south off trail #8. Your safe at this point to run...

    Tire Recommendations - F350

Like you I was not unhappy with the Goodyear Wranglers on my 2017 F-250 Diesel. I just replaced them last week, they had 45,000 miles on them and still had tread life, over 1/8" left to go. So I opted to do another set of Goodyear wranglers.

What will you be riding this year?

18 multi tune Sidewinder 137 on those fast days and a 16 Viper 129 on those slower tight twisty trail days. I too love those suspensions.

Not use to the delay posting

Pictured Rocks is a must see also, its West of Grand Marais. I agree with russholio stay away from Newberry/Paradise on the weekends it's complete insanity. Another place North of Newberry is the North Store, they also have cabins and fuel on the trail. Right across the road is Wolff Inn...

    Ride Light

After 30 years of hand signals my group decided to use ride lights this season. Seeing how these have been out for a number of years we felt most would know what they are. We just spent a week UP North and were amazed at the number of people who have no clue to what they are. After having way to...

Huge shoutout and Thank you to all clubs!

Spent the past week UP north and witnessed the big storm first hand. After it settled down we headed out around noon on Monday, what a disaster. Trees across the trails, debris just everywhere and drifts up 10' high. We helped clear some big tree falls with other groups, picked up some of the...
