    Best tunnel bag?

I have the linq sport bag 17L. It's perfect, stores everything I need while on the trail - maps, folding saw, tow rope, extra gloves, tools, etc.

    He Did What?

One of my favorite movies "Jeremiah Johnson" starring Robert Redford was loosely based on his times as a mountain man. I highly recommend it if you haven't seen it. The movie came out in 1972 and was directed by Sidney Pollack.

Sled accident in Vilas, at Plum Lake.

I agree 100%. Too many people don’t know how to ride right, worse than ever. Meet them on straight-aways and they come right down the middle.

What amount of miles on a sled scare you?

I have a 2019 MXZ Blizzard 600R etec that I bought new, that just turned 6,000 miles and it's been awesome. All I've ever done to it is one new belt, one new set of plugs, one new set of carbides, change chain case oil each year, grease annually and general cleaning/maintenance. Still has...

    Langlade, Oneida, Vilas trail conditions.

Cold won’t do any good without snow. Lakes and trails will be ice and/or frozen dirt. Road trails down to pavement/gravel. I left PI on Monday before rain and it was bad then.

    Ride Light

I added the bite harder led light to my helmet this year as well. I usually lead and buddies behind have always complained that they can't see me when there's a lot of snow dust. The helmet light is super bright and runs off same cord as electric visor. Mine is red but comes in 6 different...

This is on straight sections of trail and of course they are signally me with one hand how many sleds are behind them. Keep ur hands on the handle bars and move...

St.Germain to porcupine Mtn and back

I like Tim in Indiana's route...except on the way back you could get off Lake Gogebic on he south end and take 100 a little east to 13 south to the Cisco Chain down to Bent's Camp...then work your way south to Star Lake to Sayner and back to St. Germain. That way you're making a complete loop.

    Gogebic area

I hear you about the FRs, but it seems everyone knows about those these days and they're rougher than the trails...LOL. I had heard that Gogebic Area Grooming was housing a groomer in Marinesco these days, but that doesn't seem to be the case as these trails are as bad as I've seen them.

    Gogebic area

Why is it that the south end of Gogebic area seems to be neglected from consistent grooming compared to other parts of the area. I'm talking about trail (102/1?) from south end of the lake to Marenisco and especially Marenisco to the Wisconsin border as well as trail (13) from the south end of...
