I see Cloverland just had a Brand new sled stolen from there lot Wed night. Time to Lock everything up sadly I guess.

I know it's been some days since this happened and sorry about it Kip. It's to bad that you couldn't look at video cam footage of the bridge to see if such a vehicle and trailer passed over it, it kinds of rules out a direction of possible travel. Like was said there is only so many directions one can travel.

There was a white diesel pickup with a 5th wheel toy hauler parked in Krupp's RV parking area the last day or so of our trip. We left on Saturday Feb. 13th and the rig was still there. So, maybe check with Cassandra @ Krupp's Resort?

I can almost assure you they are a regular customer from Minny. I can't see them involved in any type of theft.

All good! However with that, the people I was referring to, I don't think would have a Dodge/Ram truck? Do you know the make/model of the truck with the vehicle you saw?

If I remember correctly, it might have been a Chevy or GMC; I do remember it had right front end damage tho.
Yep, the guys I was thinking of from what I seen for many years run GM trucks. It always pays to aware of your surroundings.
that Sucks Kip,, I was hoping there would be some fast results for you and an arrest<br><br>I am normally a very PRO law enforcement person, having so many friends in that line iof work<br><br> but after my last dealings with local police here, and seeing how little they seemed to care on theft's I reported and how little motivation they had when I gave them evidence of both video and photo evidence<br><br> if I hadn't sort of twisted there arms into doing something, threatening to do the arrest myself, and or get the state police involved and them getting credit fior the arrest<br>I think they would have done Nothing but made a report<br> as till I told them my plans if they didn;'t do something More, they had no plans of doing anything<br> after me more or less telling them I was taking matters into my own hand,s,<br> it was then the chief of local police got involved and asked me NOT to do something else and then, they started to have more motivation, but it still took me giving them a dead line to act to get moving<br><br> which they then asked me to GIVE them 3 days to do soemthing<br><br> which, ended up, with me setting them up in my drive way with a sting and me adding bait for have stolen?<br><br> SO< what I am saying is, if your local cops ain;'t doing as much as you THINK they should be with all evidence you have<br><br> maybe talk to them and tell them your not happy with results and want to maybe try something else<br>as in talk to your state police on matter!<br><br>My local cops are making 18 bucks an hr, ST police here are making more than twice that,<br>so IMO< there is a LOT less motivation is local cops at times due to well, <br>and DON"T blame them, there way under paid for what risks they take and crap they deal with!<br><br> like I said, I am Pro law enforcement<br>I feel for many of them getting paid so poorly!<br><br>but some times you have to rattle the cage to get results!<br> or they will just not care so much about the problem!<br><br>as they say some times the squeaky wheel gets the grease and attention LOL<br><br><br> you can also have your local news paper or TV stations involved, they seem to LOVE having photo's they can post and hype up a story LOL<br><br>up to you how much effort you wish to invest too?<br>I'm sure your INS covered things,<br> but crooks will steal again off someone else, so, getting them caught may save someone else from the grief and stress of being robbed<br> so getting them caught might be worth the effort<br><br> **** get things on TV and you get a little free advertising too if you want it LOL<br><br><br>
