My 06 900 Dragon kept up with all 2011 800s.. The oil line are a problem what they do is take the cam bearings out, then pistons and jugs. Dont let your dealers dog ya ,also there are clutchs are blowing apart. If you think there fast wait till 2012 Chris Brandt has a new upgrade. Enjoy eveyone!

Yep for old dated stuff but what about new Poo leading edge line up for the masses?

no one line up will be for the masses......Im glad we have choices.....I dont get the outdated comment tho.....sp500 is a take off of the race chassi...looks like it works on the race circuit in REAL WORLD application.....when i was still trail riding I bought the smallest race platform sled i could...Fcat500 was a great little trail sled the bb boys always told me to "go big or go home" hahahah well I never bought the first round...........

Artic Cat, Ski-doo, 800's and the Yamaha Apex GT 1000 4 stroke.
This was done 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 mile only on a lake only.
The Yamaha, and Ski-doo are much faster top end.

Top end is 110 mph, is for me.

The Yamaha Apex was no match 0 to 100 hole shot beat by 50 feet.

Talked to 3 other people that have 800 Rush Pro R, Polaris has the 800 to perfection then next year direct injection???

Then who knows how fast hopefully no problems.

Much better never did like the M-10, I ride to fast and hard, for trail riding and slower speeds it's good.
I like the Rush back shock works great, much better than I thought, even better than my 800 dragon rear suspension, but you need to set the shock to your weight if you weigh 180 lbs to 300 lbs, the dealer has a wrench for this then you can fine tune it yourself.

Also like I said before if you weigh over 200 lbs order the stiff square springs, then set on soft, or medium then go from there.

I agree the extra 10 was good, never liked the M-10 to soft good for old people that ride slow on the trail.

exactly. The xtra-10 looks like a terrible suspension, it sits so low. But, a lot goes on under the tunnel that you cannot see. My sled rode and handled way better than the 05 classic 600 rental i rode w/m-10

Take your new 800 2011 Rush and run it 50 miles at 80 plus with minimal stops. Go and get your '10 and your '09 Dragon and do the same. You will glaze your $175 dollar belts and run 300 - 500 rpm's less than optimal. You will be hard pressed to keep up with 600's. Been there done that. Pol hasn't even got clutching figured out and you guys are talking DI and killer four strokes?????? Good luck. Pol makes their money on 4 wheelers. They are good at that. Sleds are pretty much an afterthought for them at this point. Sept and Oct are the primo months to own a Pol sled. After that only misery. I will ad that all sleds are junk and you have to be predisposed to throwing money away to own any brand. That should get me out of brand bashing.

If Poo sleds can't power cruise "50 miles at 80 plus with minimal stops" without problems useless to me on UPMI trails. Oh well done with 2s anyway don't need the headaches.

The 2011 800 Rush has 1,175 miles on it, same belt rode 75 to 80 mph for 50 miles up around Bayfield, Ashland, and Iron County.

The only thing that I had to do is put new plugs in and tighten the track.

This is like the retard center, people bitch and don't even own one! I own both 1,000 miles on 2009 800 Dragon same belt no problem.

Next year I plan to put a new belt on both, I have no spare as of yet for each.

One last trip last weekend of the month unless snow melts.

Do you own a 800 Rush or 800 Dragon???

I drive fast 70+ on the railroad grades.
100+ on the lakes unless it is rough the 600 Rush is good not as fast drove one have you???

I have never burned a belt under 1,000 yet owning Polaris sleds in the last 12 years, earlier in the low 90's yes I burned belts 90 through 96.

My 2002 700 xc I put 2,600 miles on the same belt. The new 800 sleds I won't try that to much torque. I say 1,000 miles to 1,600, unless you drag race on the lakes. That's what the dealer told me he races also.

I have even sledded from Mercer to Duluth MN, and back in one day 367 miles drove 70 to 80 mph for an hour at a time. Maybe I'm just lucky.

So what is your perfect sled Yamaha?
I need to take the $15,000 sled with power steering for a spin to see how good it is, can't say never drove one yet.

I agree with you Indyxcr about the retards.LOL Glaze a belt at 75 mph and then because its glazed it will run less rpms??? Wrong!! A glazed belt runs higher rpms. But hey Im sure he's a know it all.

Then you got the 4-stroke nazi....lmao Everyone of his posts trash talk 2-strokes and praise the almighty 4s Yamahas. Sorry Nazi, not everyone wants a 4 stroke. But maybe you ought to run for a public office? Sounds like something you might be good at.

Sounds like you guys don't trust Grub's Poo info. The guy is connected more than you know just look at his location.lol :) Grub knows a lot more about Poo than he ever posts here on JD & you should hear him out. Can the name calling he is just trying to help you with new information.

If he's so connected, let's hear some positive things too, it's all negative! Plus he should then be able to tell us ahead of time what's coming out each year.

That will not happen on JD you will have to wait until offical release all OEMs. JD does not need that kind of legal problem from OEMs. We all have to wait for new release dates no big deal.
