They all say they have been testing for 3 years its different when they go to production. Had 96 zrt would not start in the cold, 97 440 zr had to change timing first ride, 2002 600 was great, friend 2003 Fircat great sled after they figured it out. My 2005 Firecat would not go over 85 great addition of no chaincase. So first year production usually means problems will wait for the second year. But have been known to do dumb things when I see the new ones.

Laughing on that on...by the looks of things you have a helluva track record for it!! I am gonna try and wait too but sometimes things just take over all logic in my mind and I do dumb things too.

They must have redone the F series and the CF/M platforms. Should be pretty shocking to most with so many new choices.

I don't follow cats line up but they seem to be making bold moves iin a tight economy when the other mannys are mostly in neutral,...could be the new sled buyin money will move towards cat ....do they make a blue one?

Lookin at this list,...am I seeing a huge gap in the middle HP catagory er what?

I see no 600 in the xf or m, if the 1100 4stroke is suppose to be the 600 class sled, is the price going to be 600 class? Sad to say, I am pretty sure a NEW sled is not way out of my price range.

The 1100 motor is there to fill that gap. Most are not looking for a top speed machine with midrange hp, so the motor serves two functions. It fills the gap and helps get the overall fleet into emission compliance with the 4 stroke. There are a lot of new chassis/frames because the old CF/M could not take the 4 stroke motor. It looks like they updated the Twin Spar as well, so most of the lineup will look different. Pretty impressive for just one model year.

My 2006 Crossfire 7 is actually identified as and early build and I got my hands on it in March of 05. Other then the key thing it's been bullet proof. Just wish it was tree and rock proof.

yea! what's the matter with these guys, they need to design them better. They got new cars that sense objects in front of them.

The 500 should be around 100 hp, the 1100 should be 120-130 range, the 800 will probably be around the 150 mark and who knows what they will do with the turbo 1100. I don't see any gaps in the range of 60 hp in the lineup.

I'm looking forward to see what they have done with the suspension. The slide action rear skid rides nice, but comprimises speed and efficiency. It is easy to drop the skid for any work though, two bolts and the skid is out. The M series float is a great off trail setup, but comprimises trail riding. I wish they would allow us to pick the rear skid and setup for the preferred chassis.

I was thinking more on the F5, but it will still have less than your sled.
Isn't it amazing to see how much hp we have on today's sleds? I still remember when a 440 was the monster motor.

the 800 is already over 160hp and the 1100t is around 177 same as the z1t but lightened up.the current t1100 can be made to have just over 300hp with under 2k tossed at it then it is out of turbo

I always see that claim on the 800 motor and find it hard to believe. I have the 2011 800 and it is strong through the middle, but it just doesn't feel like that kind of hp on the top. It is much better than the early 800 all the through the middle though.

I wonder how much boost the newer motor design will take? Is it truely a different motor? We will soon see if it is different.

I see that the F and XF are the same sleds up front. Not sure on the skid? I would welcome a more trail friendly XF sled. The last two years on the CF were really short M sleds and not much fun on trails.

I would highly suggest you stay home Lenny. Once you go out west your gona look at the U.P. as child's play! Every time you throw a leg over that M your gona wish you were back out west giving it an actual workout:D Congrats on the new ride by the way.
