that is strong and burns the longest, probably would be the 800etec. Although I am not framilar with this new cat 800 ho. Is it 162 hp? what's a 800 etec

They all have their place and I could have a blast on them all[/QUOTE]

dont know the hp of the etech 800 but was with a new gade with a 1.75 yesterday with etech 800 she is fast. I have a 153 M1000 he would get me out of the hole I would catch in 75ft then eaven to around 80 and I would creep ahead then we would run out of lake or trail.and racing a new 10 m153 on semi hard pack I get the jump and stay ahead but not buy more than 6 sleds the 800 ho is fast if I keep the 1000 it is pipe and controler porting over the summer cant be having close races with 200cc advantage will be over 200hp buy fall

gpa for first semester was 3.6 :p this is while spending ALL my study hall time on here :) Only class that is hard for me is english because the teacher is something that starts with a b and ends with an itch and she grades too hard. We had an essay that we only had 1 class period (45 min/5 paragraphs) to do on the dead poets society, the class average was a 67% (D+). I felt accomplished to get a C+ with her lol. I've had her every semester since last year. All my friends get off with some slacker teacher where they get an A. STOOPID SKEWL!

That english teacher might be an AC fan or she somehow knows you spend time on this site instead of studying for her class. If she is an AC fan, she can't be all that bad

Looks like a 4 stroke turbo in the M series and the Crossfires.
1. Bearcat 570
2. Bearcat 570 XT
3. Bearcat Z1 XT
4. F5 LXR, F570
5. F800
6. F1100
7. F1100 Turbo
8. M800
9. M1100
10. M1100 Turbo
11. T570
12. TZ1
13. TZ1 Turbo
14. XF800
15. XF1100
16. XF1100 Turbo
They must have redone the F series and the CF/M platforms. Should be pretty shocking to most with so many new choices.

I see, thanks. I thought it was a 4 stroke, but then saw the list with them in the M chassis and made me second guess myself.

If by some miracle they are as light as a 2s, then LOOK OUT!

Thats what I mentioned earlier, if they are as light as the 2's then AC is going to sell a chit-ton of new sleds. I got on Doo-talk for the first time in my life just to see what their camp was saying and surprisingly there were mostly positive comments. I seemed pretty impressed that they had mostly good things to say.

I am on DooTalk a lot of bit, Arctic Cat has the most interest in it right now. I had very good luck with my 800r. But I sure do like the AC but will not do anybodies first year snowmobile again. We pay for the sleds not to be there r and d department.

cat has been testing this thing for over 3 yrs when the new style zr came out in 00 they were already testing the f7 when the f7 was out they were testing the xfire.they have been pretty good for over a decade on not letting the consumer do the testing.and if something comes up they recall the whole line and take care of it.but I am with you on new models I have not got a new model since my ultra.because 1 it was a pos but I would rather buy as a non current and save 5g

I did that with my 07 F8(first year) and kind of got away with it...I had some issues but didn't have near as many issues as some people did. Waiting would be totally understandable, especially with so much change in the engine department with different metals. In retrospect, I assume they have been working on this for quite a few years.

They all say they have been testing for 3 years its different when they go to production. Had 96 zrt would not start in the cold, 97 440 zr had to change timing first ride, 2002 600 was great, friend 2003 Fircat great sled after they figured it out. My 2005 Firecat would not go over 85 great addition of no chaincase. So first year production usually means problems will wait for the second year. But have been known to do dumb things when I see the new ones.

My 2006 Crossfire 7 is actually identified as and early build and I got my hands on it in March of 05. Other then the key thing it's been bullet proof. Just wish it was tree and rock proof.
