I can't imagine they really think they will sell many of those! Someone in marketing is color blind.

Throw some camo spots on top of the drab green, and your all set for deer, duck, pheasent, moose, antelope, rhino, bear, etc.....hunting.

The new features on the Summit are interesting. It will be interesting to see how the suspension and geometry changes affect the handling with siding hilling, etc. Seems like that was the biggest beef some had with the Summit.

You guys are right, that "Squadron Green" as Doo calls is sure is ugly on the Freeride, either that or I'm too old and don't understand the new styles. It is almost worse with the plad wrap.

You could put your camo suit on and run it through the woods with no snow and video tape it then send it to brad paisley to put in his camo song video. LOL

You have to give Ski Doo credit though, they have changed the sport for the better. I'm sure it's hard to change something that has been so successful for them! Competition is a good thing.

Does anyone know when the other OEM's are releasing their full lineups?

2-28 Arctic Cat
2-23 Yamaha (Estimated)
3-4 Polaris

I believe the AC dealers have a meeting down in Orlando next week 27-29. I have my dealer inquiring about some left out items like e-start this season.
I also want to mention that ( WE ... JD members ) do a pretty unfair job bashing the new releases. I like BRP stuff, it is some of the finest engineering out there. Yes the military green may be " off the hook " but one thing is for sure. If you buy a SD , the machine is generally " top shelf " product.

New clutch for the 1200

Looks like Doo is updating the 1200 4-stroke with a new eDrive clutch:

and that engineering kept on the top shelf is the 12lbs of factory bracing you need to buy to keep your sled from bending up. but hay what do you expect when only dropping 11g on a toy? few hondo and 8hrs to install all part of the marketing I guess

Unfair meaning we don't bash brands very well? If that is what you mean we don't bash brands at all against the rules. Butt ugly not bashing just a color opinion.:)

I've spent $0 bracing mine, and it isn't bent up. I guess it depends on how hard you ride it.

we don't bash brands at all against the rules.

Some do, and some defend it because it's "just having fun".

Will be interesting to see how many of those olive drab Doos appear on the trails or in the bush. Not my cup of tea and yeah, kinda ugly -- but it sure is unique!

I don't think the new cats are going to Fair much better once we get some snow... They will tweak & bend just like my xp. The sleds are going the way of " indy cars " . Not made to take a hit and be straightened . Just replace parts, lighter, cheaper, made in China, mexico.... Fact of the matter is ... we can pick apart almost every sled.

I was on the fence wether to order a new MXZ XS X ??? until I saw the color. That is one ( or was one of their best models );

I also liked the TNT 600, no legs down the stretch but ripped arse pretty good. I guess I'm a glutton for punishment, might have to SC a new cat. 2013 ??? Maybe they will have all the bugs worked out.
I like all sleds, to each their own... wish I could own more and A big rig to haul them in, might as well add a private jet to fly to the snow.... quit my job and become a " snow hunter " .... that's not so funny.....

Can't say Yam went that way at all. Yam seems to be refining all existing platforms does not care about the weight goes for high miles long lasting sleds. I think Yam needs to move on with new lighter platforms but there is a market for rock solid troble free sleds too. If you can tolerate the weight new Yams will wear better than others but will stay #4 without something new.

Wow didn't I just read on a different thread the other day that someone hoped poo stiffened up the running boards on the 2013 RMK??? I looked at the picture of this sled and thought rider forward and it more than likley has electronic reverse, nice looking sled. dan
