Is anyone planning on heading to the show this weekend? If so, what do you have your eye on? I'm going for sure, but I may have to drive down there alone unless rp7x decides to come with. I think everyone knows what I will be looking at. ;)

Definitely will be there tomorrow. Haven't nailed down a time yet but most likely in the afternoon. Will be checking out a couple of models (just for fun, of course).

BTW, I stopped at my dealer this morning and he had a pair of 2015 Polaris sleds in the showroom: RMK (of course) with Terrain Domination graphics and a 60th Aniv. Switchback Assault. It's always a matter of taste but I thought the red/white SBA was awesome when I saw it for real.

Well, it’s obvious to me why they would make this offer. Think of the advertising ROI. I wouldn’t have been a bit surprised to see billboards with your face on them. “Ezra saw the "Light". What’s Your Problem?” We would know the significance.

A Real Sneak Peek

Didn’t bother to check the show times and got there an hour early but the doors were open. Well OK, first I went in the wrong door and ended up in some kind of women’s symposium. Even I knew I was in the wrong place.

Anyway, being able to get in an hour early, the crowd was understandably light and I really got to see things close up. Lots of good stuff to see – how can you not like looking at new hardware? At 2:00 (when the doors were scheduled to open), holy crap! It was a mob scene. Let me tell you, there is interest out there. If I had to rank the interest of the horde when I was there, I think Ski-Doo was the clear winner, Polaris #2 and Yamaha #3, although there were a fair number of people checking out the Yamaha line-up and the reps were busy.

I was really impressed with the number of different models in the show this year. Way better than some of the shows in prior years. Interesting that Doo scored the opening spot by the entrance. Glad I had the shades on. Man they are bright! But you know, I actually liked a lot of the color setups. Of course, I still have my neon green ski jacket so maybe I’m prejudiced.

Fun day! There is just nothing like being able to get on the new sleds to really get a feel for what is out there. Got the info I needed and saw a lot of great looking sleds and great engineering features.

I had a good time at the show today but still am not sure what to do. I really want a painted tunnel and rails but the Pro X does not fit my riding style (although it sure looks great) and I'm on the fence on the Anniversary edition as I think there will be a ton of those on the trails next year. I'm leaning Pro S in Matte grey/Black but that comes with unpainted tunnel and rails. I would add the new gauge as that is only standard on the 60th Anniv sleds. Not sure what to do yet.

I spent a little time in the Doo area but not much new there but colors, and very bright colors! Some I think may grow on a person and others never would. I think they will sell a vast majority of black sleds this year. :) The Yamaha display was a lonely place but it was late in the day for their target audience. ;) I couldn't resist! Below are a few pics from today.

Cats disinterest in Sneak Peek is starting to feel like a merge with Yamaha where the Yamaha products are the featured products. OEM agreements are always morphing either get closer or further apart & Yamaha does need a USA mfg location....so I'm starting to think a merge is in the offing & little use to spend AC Sneak Peek money if winding down product line. Only biz answer I have for pulling back at this time.
