To add insult to injury, since the UP is the only place with snow, the trails are getting HAMMERED faster then a Pabst Blue Ribbon at a Nascar race.

I doubt our Western friends in the mountains are getting many IL, IN, IA, MI, OH folk out there.

I guess there is one positive to all of this, the business owners (bars, gas stations, eating establishments, hotels..) are cleaning house this winter in the UP!

All headed to the UP is right the trucks and trailer's were everywhere last weekend. This picture doesn't do any justice there are more out of site and off to the side. You could hear the brapppin all day and all night until about 2 am. Gets busy Thursday and its quiet by Sunday evening when most head back. Haven't had much snow at all in the past 5 weeks.

I've never rode Ohio, Illinois or Iowa, but i guess there's a first time for everything. I just don't know if my truck will go south pulling a sled trailer. I'll probably have to find out when I get back from the eastern UP.
