For the people who the scale went up a little, dont worry very common, but stick with it and it will go down.....I'am 260lbs, lost 14.5 the first couple weeks but the scale is slowing down now. I have to walk and lift more and more intensly. The 11th was exactly 4 months away from our awesome white water rafting/camping trip in Keshena Wi. I have to lose at least 50lbs by then. If anybody wants to go we have a facebook page. I went for the first time when i was 38 and thought "Gosh why havent i done this a lot sooner" Beautiful scenery, waterfalls, floating down the river with you favorite beverage. This year were going early to do some golfing.

you are so right, rafting is a blast, done it 5 times on the wolf river. I believe Shot gun Eddie's was where we put in at. Beautiful area and a blast. I'll see if I can manage the trip, I mean wifey and I.

Well my over eating on easter took its toll on me until about wednesday! It was a up and down week, lose some one day gain the next and ended up with a gain a 1.4 lbs last week! Not even worried about it as the last 3 months I have watched my body go up and down but its worked to the tune of a loss of 64 lbs since I started my diet! So hopefully this week I see some better results and besides Easter I was on my normal diet and workout routine! It seems every 3-5 weeks I even out (or gain) weight then start to lose again!

Week 1 -6lbs
week 2 -8lbs
week 3 - + 1.4lbs
Total= 12.6 lbs (3.15% total weight loss)

Week 1 = 6 lbs
Week 2 = 3lbs
Week 3 = 3 lbs
12 lbs total or 6.4 %

This coming weekend will be a tough one as i will be visiting my son and staying in hotels and eating out alot, need to kick it hard the first 4 days this week.

Havin' a hard time keeping up with you guys but I'm still in the game.

Week 1 = 3 lbs.
Week 2 = 2 lbs.
Week 3 = 2 lbs.
Total = 8 lbs = 3.3%

No pig-out threats coming up but there are signs I'm in for a plateau period. Hopefully I can at least knock off a pound this week. Maybe a couple less brewskis. Nah, that's crazy talk.

Oh crap, it's accountability Mon. and I've stayed the same, positive is I did not gain! I know what my magic # is and I'm 14 lbs. away but I'm keep the 1st. day of grooming my offical date in my minds goal to achive the 14 lb. weight loss and my dream is a 20 # weight loss, so in the real world I can do this, I can do this, it's 8 months of success and failure ahead of me! Good luck to all!

That would great Lenny to have you and the wife along. Shotgun Eddies is real popular but we use Big Smokey Falls cause unlike Eddies where you take a bus back to your car we start at the end with our cars and a bus takes you up the river so you can take as long as you want on the trip. Says the otter run is about 4 to 5 hour adventure but we take our time stop off and party on a coouple bluffs hang out at the Indian oasis on the river for lunch and drinks then head down for more rafting. So it turns the trip into an all day adventure which is awesome because it only comes once a year and it goes by too fast as it is. For anybody that has never seen it before heres a link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pdseXCdnvaY&feature=related

I'm still alive. I had surgery on my achilles last week Weds & the doctor was surprised to find that I tore the tendon completely off the calf muscle. The surgery was a little more complicated than usual and took 1 1/2 hours. I went back to work on Monday because my job is pretty much at a desk. I've been telling people that I was defending my family against a squad of zombie ninjas and one bit me in the ankle.

The good new is that I got a new toy (see attached). I took the basket off & a friend is making some Batman stickers, but I'm afraid there's not much you can do to man-up a scooter.

See Ya - Skutr (aka: scooter, Scott)

Scooter, er I mean Skutr, looks like you already have an adjustable riser on that. Whats next, pipe,can,maybe a turbo? Need a rack to carry extra batteries and garden tools. Ya might want to throw a Boss seat on there while your at. Hope a speedy recover is in your future.

Yes will race if im in shape for it. We will go joe is ready to go also. We will get the pop-up out again lenny and the grill. Rode 22 miles friday the 20th on the cruiser and was a good ride up to geneva and back. Think it was a little much to fast as legs and rear end is sore. Also didnt have any bl smoothies so that will help. As far as today will be having some millers so will have to double time it on my sunday ride. Good luck to all as its not that hard just be consious of what you eat and how much intake. My wife lost 45 pounds just by cutting back on her intake, and still eats all the same food less she doesnt drink beer as thats what will get me,

My job was about killing me with 12 to 14 hour days and travel to the other side of the world about 10 times last year. Jet lag sucks. I was eating horrible and felt even worse. I went to the Doctors where they put me through a lot of tests including a high resolution heart scan. In short they found nothing serious. What they did do was show me the inside of my heart where they could point out everywhere build up was starting. There was up to 20 to 30% blockage. He stated that this is not a concern but that if I do not change, by the time I reach 60's it will be trouble. I have watched muy father and father in-law go through bypass surgery so it was sobering to be looking into my actual heart and see this. Ugh! Stress is a big factor and I cannot much control the stress of my job (especially in this economy). I decided that what I can control is my weight and what I cram in my mouth when I eat. last August my wife and I got trainers, started exercising and changed our diets. It was a real bummer to start but now the exercise is a must for me. It is a great stress release and mental reset. I cannot go without it. I have dropped over 35 pounds (236 to 200) and feel great (with the exception of the work stress). My wife is doing great as well. I have my follow up with the heart doctor next month and we will see what he says. There is hope, as he stated that bad that has been done can actually be reversed. It just takes time. The biggest challenge was finding the time and it is still tough but it was well worth it. Also, with the exercise you can eat some guilty pleasure food, just in moderation.
