Looking to go out west

We are headed somewhere that same week. Actually my bud and I are going with a guy we met on a Moms trip. Going to wherever the snow is best. Though I'm kinda partial to Cooke. We tend to end up at "Top of the World" a lot. Less people, less tore up, much much bigger area.

We'll be most likely messing around on logging roads all weekend, try to stay out of the trees, need another 2' and it should be a go!!

I made my first trip out west last year. The first place I rode was the Flathead Valley of MT about 2 hours south of Glacier National Park. Scared the crap out of me. The guys I went with were great and really helped me through. I took a snowbike out there and was super glad I did - I was places I definitely should not have been. Last few days we spent riding in West Yellowstone and loved that.

I didn't see if anyone had mentioned it above - but I would recommend taking a GPS and some survival stuff - just in case you get stuck somewhere and have to spend a night. Have fun!

So, Indy should be out there by now!!
Any bets if his sled makes it thru unscathed on day one, or if he gets out of bed the next day. Lol

Also that he was beat! his last text to me last night was, and i quote, " You didnt tell me there would be a bunch of hot chicks walking around!" LMAO.

Having an absolute blast!! Sled has been rolled over 5 or 6 times most of them the first day! My digital camera won't start up in the cold and my phone was accidentally on battery saver mode, I hardly have any pics, good amount of video footage though. Will work on posting pics later. Honestly the elevation isn't that bad riding as long as you take your time pulling people out. I think the stairs at the lodge is worse!! I pulled a great move today I wish I had on video... Climbed up a huge hill was sidehilling across and squeezed between 2 trees that were less than 4' apart and the mountain side dropped off after. I squeezed thru. Sled rolled over once ended up upside down as I tumbled on top of it, definitely regretting not getting a tether, quite scary!

If you got Noah you better have a saw in your gear. He likes the thick.
Ya those steps are killer, stop on the landing and laugh at yourself a moment.

Have rode in super thick stuff since we've got here so you're spot on!! Lots of scratches! The 90 degree pow turns then a straight up climb never seemed to end! We rode with 10 including Noah, the other 4 guys I'm with out here definitely had a rough day well only 3/4 probably over 25 stucks, I only had one today so it was a good day!

Those turns we call "J" turns. Kinda like the "bulldog" but don't stick your leg out to do it. First time our group seen Noah do that we just looked at each other and said, "Ya right". Then went all the way back to the bottom and started over. That is a big group.
