Yeah..we are all dumping our Apexes to ride SLOW ski-doo 1200s (SMH)
i was referring to years of Yam 4 stroke ownership driving Snobuilder back to 2 strokes.

Comparing a 4 cyl 160 hp to a 3cyl 130 hp sled in a drag is, how do i say it, a little Feeble. The 1200 and viper are direct competitors. An ecu re flash and a header on the 1200. Hold your arms in!!
I know that...and the person I ride with the most has 1200 GSX SE (2015)...he's not butt hurt about it like some the guys on here...he really likes my apex, and wishes his ski-doo had my sleds power, and the eps...he also told me that my xtx was easily the best riding yamaha he was ever ridden (including the Viper LTX he test rode last year)....I don't get the yama jealousy on here..lol
I don't know how Yamaha disappointed you...but you also seem to be rather negative towards them
Didn't Yamaha say like 3 years ago they were going to make a all new all Yamaha sled? All I see is Blue cats and 10 year old sleds. 9k for a phazer no thanks. If and when they make a new 120&150 hp sled I would think it would sell like hot cakes. Why don't they

Hope you're proficient at engine rebuilds......not to worry though, you'll get plenty of practice............
600 Polaris is great choice in new sledAfter riding my 08 Apex LTX , I'm changing back to Polaris next year.
I'd do it this year but no snow around here and been up north enough this year.
Tired of bouncing around, darting, bottoming out and turning a tank around corners, I'm done with Yamaha.
I rode my son's friends AXYS 800 and I'm sold on it. Only change is that I'm going with the 600.
4 strokes are like fat chicks, I would consider riding one if they dropped some weight.
or even if somebody simply turned off the lights?4 strokes are like fat chicks, I would consider riding one if they dropped some weight.
the seating position just seems too low to me.
Did they change the seating position at all in the Yamaha-built Yamahas? My father-in-law has a newer Vector with EPS, and the seating position just seems too low to me. My wife loves it though compared to the Polaris 2 strokes - mainly because of the throttle response and smoothness, and of course the EPS.
