The Pack vs The Vikings this weekend. Always a good division rivalry game. Nobody is talking about it...In theory should be a win for the Packers. But, this game always scares me. Many decided by last second field goals. To many people looking past this game, lets hope McCarthy and the Packers are not. I feel McCarthy is smart enough not to overlook this game...

I would hope they don't overlook it. It will be ALOT harder to win the division with a loss here.
The coaching staff (ok McCarthy) has been doing something we haven't seen in a very long time in GB. He is keeping his foot on the throttle. Rodgers didn't need to play as long as he did the last 2 games, especially 2 weeks ago. But he obviously has learned that getting a lead and milking it out hasnt worked since 1997. He is calling plays that work, not plays that are just for clock killing. He wants to make sure the team keeps the momentum, not just coast.

If something bad happens, it happens. But repeating what hasn't worked in the past, isn't the answer. Either way, he's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't.

No need for concern.... The Pack will roll.... game over by half time.

Yep, just like KC rolled last night....

This game will be a lot closer than the last 2.

Oakland was amped up with all the all pro Raider retired players there for the Ray Guy tribute. Carr played very well but lots of picks dropped with wet KC hands. Nothng like that going on with Vikes...won't be close.

unless AP and Randy Moss are walking thru that door I don't see how the vikes can score more than 14 points.
raiders and chiefs at Oakland isn't even a comparison.

If the Vikes Packers game is close it will be because of the Vikings defense, their offense is inept. Probably won't be close but the rain might impact the game and slow it down in the Vikings favor.

First time I watched the raiders and Carr this year. I was kinda impressed. He has the leadership quality in him, and he has a good arm. The rest of it needed to make it in the NFL can be taught. He just needs a good QB coach and he should stick around longer than his brother did.

Can you still be a fan of a team and hope they lose? While I want the Bears to do well and I would say I'm a "fan" of theirs, I was really hoping they would lose today. They suck. Why reward anyone on that team with a win so they think they are actually good? They beat a team slightly worse then they were today. If they would just lose we might have hope they will understand how bad they really are and clean house completely to start fresh next season.

The Ws are over for the Bears this season. They can't beat the teams on their upcoming schedule.....maybe the Vikings but hope not. Same as you clean house ASAP starting with Trestman & staff.....just didn't work out.:(

I'd say the Vikings surprised a lot of people today! Some even said the game would be over by half time. I thought they'd get blown out too, but the defense played pretty well. They sure gave them a game compared to the Bears.

I was surprised thought we would blow them out.
if bridgewater would of hit half his open receivers there's a good possibility we lose that game. don't know what tramon was doing running around covering no one. bridge wasn't very accurate.
the real test is this sunday vs the patriots.
we'll see if McCarthy is ready to coach with the big dogs or if bellichick schools him up.
the cardinals are who I thought they were.

Ok here is exactly what I mean. There are just a couple of the quotes I heard after the game.

"Too many people want to break this down quarter by quarter, half by half," Jared Allen said. "We won the game. We won in convincing fashion."

"Yeah I was just really proud of our football team today... we played a good football team today... we're excited to take the win" Marc Trestman

I agree bucs arent very good. But believe it or not tho ,going into that game the bucs had a 4th quarter lead in 6 of last 7 games. I actually thought the bears may lose. Defense actually looked good, mostly becuase mccown is terrible. I didnt want to see lovie win.

GB back to reality. From what I seen minn had a chance. Bridgewater just like eli manning missed some easy throws. NE continues its dismantaling of lions. See how they match up with pack. Woulda really liked to see it in NE. Interested to see what that line is. You green bay guys are bears fans this week

I have seen Bucs play several games this year & have had flashes of being decent on both O & D but in the end lost the game. Are the Bucs closer to a wining team than Bears?....maybe been in most games they played where Bears either win by 7 or so or lose big. The Bears O still looked flat no idea what is wrong with them so much talent just does not click. This is the end for DA Bears going to have to play winning teams that will beat the snot out of them.lol

Pack/ne early line is pack -3. Thought for sure it would be a pick em.

Another interesting week in the NFL. Couple of thoughts:
1. Lions are close to keeping their tradition of playing themselves out of the playoffs BUT are hanging in! They have an easy schedule coming up, minus the Pack, and might just make it this year.
2. Bears can beat bad teams while playing bad. Its too bad Cutler, their franchise QB, has to be a game manager to win. The defense actually won that game for them, the BEARS DEFENSE!! Match up against Cowboys should be interesting, we will see if the Bears little comeback is for real. I doubt it.
3. Green Bay just wins. Doesn't matter what score is, good teams just win. their matchup this week against Pats should be great. Two really good teams, or shall I say QB's, battling it out. Gronk will be a tough matchup for the Pack, that man is a beast. Might just be a Super Bowl preview.
4. KC looks like a fraud, Cards are in trouble even with a great record. Seahawks and 49ers, although a little unsteady are still forces to be dealt with. Although, I would pick the Pack over all of them head to head.
5. Raiders win a game, no one cares.
6. 7 days to UP trail opener, im ready!
