I called my good friend from "down South" up the other day
and asked him what HIS take was for the rest of the season,...
He said: "The NFL is like a box of chocolates,...ya never know WHAT you're gonna get!"

I agree with you 100%. 2010 pack won the superbowl as a luck wild card seed and won every game on the road. anything can happen. but I do REALLY like our chances.

I def had high hopes this year for bears and cutler. Too bad they let us all down. NFL is a mad scientist. Usually the team you think will win doesnt. Thats the beauty of NFL playoffs. 6 seed can smoke the 1 seed any given day.

you also must not be watching today's NFL. it is QB vs QB more than anything today. i'll take Rodgers over anyone right now including Peyton. Peyton prolly would have a few more title if he wouldn't throw stupid picks.
i.e. peyton vs saints super bowl.
i.e. peyton vs. ravens afc championship game two years ago.
i.e. petyon vs brady numerous times.

nfc west is in shambles. saint's ain't making the playoffs and the niners may not either. seahawks? we won't have to beat them Marshawn is personally driving that bus off the road himself.

Rodges doesn't throw picks period. hasn't thrown one at home in like 3 hundred and some odd pass attempts. just broke packer record.
like is said the D don't have to be the 2000 ravens just contain the rush and what they're doing with Mathews seems to be working. our secondary is a bunch of ball hawks that take a back seat to no one. yah the kool aid tastes pretty good today.

If it was QB vs QB then how does joe flacco, eli manning, ben Roethlisberger win super bowls. Qbs are the most important player on field but arent the be all end all. If so rodgers, peyton, brady or brees would win super bowl every year. But nope, team wins. If the packers had a team they woulda won more than 1 already cause rodgers has def done his part. They do seem better this year but LONG ways to go. AFC is the better conference so ill take whoever comes out of that to win it.

Ps....secondary a bunch of ball hawks that take a back seat to no one. That there is FUNNY. IMG_27285979373580.jpg

mo money I'm going to not even reply to you if you don't think we have ball hawks in our secondary you obviously haven't watched a packer game this year. our secondary scored twice yesterday. how many picks do we have on the season against your guy? but then again you were the one saying cutler could lead the bears to the promised land so your lack of knowledge is understandable.
momoney sometimes it better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid that to open it and remove all doubt.

U said the packers have the best ball hawking secondary in NFL, and no one is EVEN CLOSE, pahahahahahaha. Wow they got some pics from sanchez and cutler. THEY ARE THE BEST EVER, right tebow?

PS i wasnt the only one who thought that. Trent dilfer and brian billick as well. Along with phil emery. Those people are stupid too right? Check yourself before you wreck yourself.

Packers lead the NFL with a +14 turn over ratio...

View attachment 48717

Lets be clear. The takeaway give-away ratio is simply becuase rodgers DOES not turn the ball over. He is an extreme outlier and doesnt thro pics.

And Im not saying the defense or the secondary of the packers isnt playing well. But to say they are the best ball hawks BY FAR is false. Thats all.

Honestly to say any unit or player is BY FAR the best is a tuff statement to make. Maybe jj waat is by far the best defensive end. Otherwise the nfl has way to much parity.

Mo money:
please buddy do your self a favor and stop now.

Where is this do I say the Packers are the best ball hawks ever?!?!?! I never ever said they're the best ball hawks in the NFL or ever for that matter. if you're going to quote me please ready my post before you put your foot in your moth again.

I said they have a bunch of ball hawks and you dismissed it and having no validity. 22 takeaways and 5 defensive scores but no we have no ball hawks.....nothing to see here momoney move along everyone. c'mon man!

Bunch of ball hawks that take a back seat to no one. That would imply they are the best, no?

I guess im not smart enough to comprehend your lingo.

I would agree, at this point, the Pack have just as good of chance as any team in the NFL right now. Rodgers is playing lights out right now and he is tough to stop. They really dismantled Philly, and yes I know Sanchez was Qb'ing.
But, its the hottest team in the end that wins. It will be fun to watch. Watching the Bears vs Vikes this weekend was just boring. Sorry to admit it, I am a Bears fan, but the response by the coaching of the Bears to their problems really lost my interest in this underachieving team.

lets not forget about the ball hawking defense. ;)

Yup. Makes sense. Combination of packers playing really well and the rest of the NFC falling off. San Fran and seattle r no where to be found. Plus vegas is likely getting an influx of new bets on pack to superbowl. To protect themselves they lower the odds for bettors, which makes them the favorites.

ya know anyone can say "yah but they beat sanchez" blah blah. Sanchez didn't give up 21 points if the first quarter. It wouldn't of mattered if foles, sanchez, or jaws was QB'ing; when the packers hit a team so quick offensively and they have 21 points in the first quarter it takes the opponent completely out of any game plan they envisioned in having.
on top of the fact we don't get penalized, or turn the ball over these games are basically over by half.
another game over by half will be this week vs the vikes before the real test when the pats come to lambeau.
