I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY!!! Happy HAPPY HAPPY!!! :D

Doing the SNOOOPY HAPPY DANCE!

I GOT EXTENDED! YEEEEEEEEHAW! My contract has been extended to Feb 28, 2011!!! So, part 1 (get back into Best Buy) and part 2 (get extended) done - NOW I have to get hired PERMANENT!

The bosses said I'm going a great job, they are very pleased with my work, my work ethic and my GIT 'R DONE attitude.

Was also very happy to hear that the folks I will continue to work with are happy that I'm staying. :) :) :)

Jim has been in White Lake SD for 23 days now. :( We miss him A LOT! Don't like him being gone but know it's for the best. He's working his arse off - 7 days a week, sun up to sun down... so the money (when he finally gets it) will be GOOD. Just have to be patient... yeah, I know... I'm not good at being patient.

My hope meter to be at the RIDE IN for the dates we have planned has gone way up with my extension! I'm just down right GIDDY!

REV IT UPx3!!

good to hear that it was busy, makes the day go by fast for him.

I take it with the purchases that there were some good deals.

Yup, but I'm a purpose shopper, I knew where I needed to go and for what I could get it for, although Sled Solutions even surprised me with price's. But I did pick up some stuff that wasn't on my list.

Hi All,

I'm asking for some major prayers - this has been a week of badass news. My Dad called, he's been diagnosed with lung cancer. Yep - the big one.

If you remember, early this year, he was diagnosed with prostrate cancer and the procedure to prep him for radiation to treat that nearly killed him with an infection from the cath process. AND while he was in the hospital for that they discovered a spot on his lung. Did an biopsy and that came back clean, but the biopsy process collapsed his lung... it was a nightmare for him, but he came through that and the radiation treatments really good.

Thankfully, they have been keeping an eye on him and during one of his recent scans they found another spot on his lung - which this time they have confirmed is cancer. Started out 90 days ago the size of a dot and is now the size of a half-dollar.

Today is his first procedure to determine what they will do. They are going to look at his lymph nodes to see if they have cancer in them. If they DO then he must start chemo and radiation treatments immediately. if they DO NOT then he has to decide if the left lung will be removed or start chemo and radiation treatments. Both of those options require immediate action as well - they are saying that it's very agressive cancer. Dad didn't tell me what stage it was...

When he called me, he sounded good and strong. He still had his sense of humor. When I started to cry, he reminded me to "stiffen up - just like the rodeo, there's no crying." He said he wasn't ready to go anywhere and was determined to fight hard.

So yeah, when you are talking with the Big Guy upstairs, drop in a prayer for my Dad. Pray that there is no cancer in the lymph nodes (we probably won't have test results back until early next week). Pray for him to have all the strength he needs to fight his arse off.

Thanks for all your support and prayers!

Thanks everyone! I really REALLY appreciate it!

My Mom called, said that Dad did really well with today's procedure. He said he feels like someone "karate chopped his neck a million times and it hurts." He was still prettty doped up when he was talking. They sent him home this afternoon and he went right to bed. Doc said the best thing now is for him to sleep.

They will run the tests on the samples from the lymph nodes to determine if they have cancer in them or not. Apparently it takes a few days... so we wait.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR PRAYERS!!!

Prayers from our family to yours Julie. Cancer has also ravaged our family so I know how you feel. Lost my mom in 93, her sister last fall, and 7 of 8 Aunts on my mom's side to that piece of crap disease. My dad and my uncle have both beaten prostate cancer so we say our prayers dailey.

Well Drifty its getting some good reveiws, I've only sat on one at the snow show, the only thing I don't like on it is the back end it still just doesn't look finished to me, but when your sitting on it you can't see the back end, everything else I like. Did you get your Demo Ride email, if not I can send you a copy.
