Love me some Nebraska! Goes by so fast. At least you can get a good steak!
Made it to Omaha tonight. I-80 started getting crappy around Des Moines and the rest of the way across Iowa. There's 8"+ of fluffly powder on the ground and it's still snowing good.
We'll be braving the wind-blown snow tomorrow morning for the second leg of the journey west.

Anyone know the laws in Iowa concerning Ditch Banging on the highway? looking for alternative ideas than just sitting in a truck for hours.

riding today was great, but colddddd!! found lots of untouched along tree lines . but some pretty persistant snow and wind kept making visibility pretty tuff. it is snowing alittle tonight , but don't know how much fresh up top till morning.
got together with some guys tonight and had some laughes and talked to skeedoo on here and reserved the BEARTREE for wed night for the meet and greet. just to give them the heads up that 35+ are showing up and they need the staff to handle...so it's beartree for wed night !!! nice place!!
anyways everybody have a safe trip out , hopefully the temps will come up alittle when your here. sorry for no pictures but you will see soon

I could of brought gallons of it. I only have 2 gallons with me. Wind chill this morning in Centennial is minus 30. Temp is 1 degree. Weather alert on phone woke me up.

oh man, that's a good find!
if it makes you feel better it is -44 up top and it is pretty much a whiteout right now......BUT things will get better!!!!

out of here in 15 minutes. Snowies bound. looks like I will have to wear all 3 layers of Klim for those temps. lol Snowing pretty good here at home to and it is 27 above, with no wind. see ya soon!
In the Morning
We are right behind you guys. leaving the TC's Wednesday early. It looks like the Iowa Nebraska route isn't going to be as good this time. We are thinking of running I90 through Sodak. When you hear something that sounds like an Outlaw Sprint Car, That'll be us!!!

Just left fgsacts house, looking for cuzzinolaf. Got 10 guys in our caravan and picking up more.

much better day riding, still alittle cold but getting alot better, have reports of windshield deep powder , so we will be checking it out tommorrow and will give the full report at the meet and greet, save you guys a little searching time.
got a chance today to test drive a yamaha nytro with the push turbo on it and also the supercharged one and i have to say they get the JOB DONE!! at 10500 ft ...did not ride them long but it was lots of fun.
getting reports that the roads coming across neb are still not great and the wind sucks , so i hope that everybody takes it easy

We are in Iowa, picked up more guys. Got 14 sleds and riders with. Plan is to be there by noon.

Minus 17 this morning in N. Platte Nebraska, not counting wind chill. Whole lot of flat ground. 490 miles to go!
